Darn! I want one of these so bad. Seems like they will be easily available starting in september.

Few pre orders via email are happening early in July. Then late summer buy button will be back & live on the website.

You can always keep an eye on their website for B-stocks, which are available right away without the wait and have visual flaws that are not noticeable.

    Back in Black

Posted by Andrew Ilgunas on September 14, 2022

    Hello!

    I have some good news.

You may remember I was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer; well I am pleased to report that following the removal of the offending testicle I have been informed that the cancer was a stage 1, meaning no spread and this has been backed up by a beautifully clear CT scan.

So, I am a very lucky man indeed.

I'll obviously continue to have follow ups with the oncologist to keep an eye on things and make sure the unwelcome guest doesn't decide to try and make a reappearance, but for all intents and purposes I'm home and dry and things can start getting back to normal. Please see below for all the information you need.

For those of you with orders already in that you haven't received yet, you are obviously top priority and myself and my wonderful wife are already hard at work getting pedals built for you.
There's a backlog of 200 pedals and we are hopeful that with us both working flat out you will all have your pedals shipped by the end of the month.

For those of you who haven't yet had a chance to purchase a 1991, your time has come! I will be making a number of 1991s available for pre order from 9am UK time on Saturday 17th September. Newsletter subscribers will get early access from 6pm on Friday 16th September, so if you want to make sure you don't miss out and haven't yet signed up, get your name down via the link below.

Newsletter Signup – Funny Little Boxes Ltd.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE PRE ORDERS AND WILL SHIP BETWEEN THE 1ST AND 31ST OF OCTOBER.

As for the next FLB pedal release, this has obviously been set back a fair bit. Whereas my focus at the moment right now is to fulfil outstanding orders as quickly as possible, I am hoping that come October, the development sessions for the new pedal can recommence and a new release date can be announced ASAP.

I'll finish by saying a massive thank you for the huge amount of support, kindness, well wishes and patience shown to myself and my family during what has been a scary, but mercifully short ordeal.

    All the best

    Andy

    Nearly There!

    Hello!

This is just a quick update to let you know that those of you who have outstanding orders waiting to ship, the finish line is in sight.

Having downed tools for a month in order to deal with the cancer it has been a slow process getting back into things and I'm definitely not back up to my old pace yet, even working flat out; but I really didn't want to keep you guys waiting too much longer.

I haven't quite hit my target of clearing the massive backlog by the end of the month, my wife who was helping me has had to go back to her day job as a nurse sadly and there was also a delay in some enclosures arriving... but the vast majority of outstanding orders will be shipping over the course of the weekend with all of them on the way by Friday of next week at the absolute latest.

I want to say a huge thank you for your patience and support over this time as I know this has been a far longer wait for your pedal than any of you initially signed up for.

    All the best

    Andy

  • I have only used this off a bad practice amp. It gives amazing warm tube amp sound( off a crappy solid state amp). Can't wait till I use the real amp, with tubes and  120 watts( neighbors may be not). Makes black fountain sort of sad in sound. Yes  your guitar chain needs this. Worth wait.

Nice. Did you receive shipping confirmation before it showed? Haven't heard anything yet.
