I enjoyed reading that origin story this morning. Cool stuff. Hope the cork sniffers don’t have anything to say about it. And I love how he said he could fail miserably and not be any worse off haha
It's been a while since I sent an update and I am very sorry for the lack of communication. There are many facets of FLB besides this build queue and only so many hours in the day. Hopefully this update will answer any questions you have in relation to the 1991; your place in the queue and when you're likely to get your hands on one.
Firstly; I have now closed the build queue. There are just over 1500 of you in line for a pedal, which is amazing and beyond anything I ever expected. However, I really don't want Analogman type waiting times for people so I've made the decision to close the queue so that we can get it cleared.
With a production capacity of 50 pedals a week we should be on schedule to clear the list by 31st May 2022.
We currently have almost 150 pedals built and ready go; they're just waiting on knobs. This has been an agonising wait for myself and my team but they are due to dispatch this week which should mean we hopefully start shipping pedals week commencing 8th November.
Our plan is to ship 400 pedals in time for Christmas* 2021. 200 of those 400 are bought and paid for; I will be sending a link, whereby you can purchase your pedal to the next 200 people in the queue this week.
If you have already paid for a pedal then a huge thank you to you! Rest assured they will ship as soon as the knobs arrive! Your patience and trust are hugely appreciated!
I am in the process of re-organising the build queue as we speak and by the end of this week everyone will have received an email updating them on where they stand in the queue and when they can expect to be billed for and receive their pedal. To those of you who have been sat in the queue and not had an email telling you your place and when to expect a pedal please accept my most humble apologies.
Thank you once again for your support and patience; it really does mean the world to me and I promise that the 1991 will be worth the wait.
Andy
* Ordering in time for Christmas 2021 does not constitute a guarantee you will receive your pedal in time for Christmas. Funny Little Boxes will ensure that your pedal is shipped to you, Via Royal Mail no later than the last posting date for your country of residence. International orders will be prioritised when shipping in order to give the best chance of pre-Christmas arrival. Funny Little Boxes cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping and at individual country's customs following dispatch.
It seems I have unintentionally sent out some mixed messages regarding billing and shipping dates!
Please accept my most profuse apologies for this and see the information below which should clear it all up. I think it is only April, May and June people who have been affected by the typo but just to be safe I have sent to everyone so all bases are covered.

My profuse apologies that it has taken me so long to get this message out to you; I have had my head down working flat out on getting your orders out the door that I lost sight of the fact that an update would probably be appreciated by you.
You are now so close to getting your 1991 pedal! Orders have been flying out the door and will continue to do so for the remainder of the week.
All orders for Australia, New Zealand, Middle and Far East and the Carribean have left the building and almost all orders for the US and Canada are out the door too.
The remaining US and CAN orders will ship tomorrow; European orders on Thursday and UK orders by Saturday.
Thank you so much for your patience and for tolerating the longer than expected wait. I never envisioned it taking this long for pedals to be getting out to you guys but sadly the global supply chain is a difficult thing at the moment.
I WILL send you a tracking number so please don't panic if you haven't got one yet. I have to go through every order (and there are loads) individually and mark it as fulfilled and input the tracking number, so it takes a long time! If you don't have a tracking number by Monday 20th Dec then contact me to give me a poke but that shouldn't happen.
International customers: Please bear in mind that once your order is despatched, the tracking information you can access is exactly the same as what I can access, I don't have information you don't so please refrain from emailing me asking for updates as I can't offer you anything you don't already have.
Once again I would like to say a huge thank you to you all for your support, understanding and patience; it really does mean the world to me! And also to wish a very happy holiday season to you and your families.
Got mine today. #84. Sounds amazing. Played it with a Telecaster with P90s. What really stood out was playing Breath and Hungerstrike so far. Has that Rick Parashner crunch/sustain/reverb mix perfectly. Great for Fell on Black Days too.
