    I want to like these songs. But after one listen, I have no desire to listen again. I don’t hate them at all.

    The Haves should not be a 5 minute song. After about the first 2 mins, I kept skipping forward 20 seconds to see if the song would take a turn...NOPE.

    I have enjoyed Long Way.  The Haves...ugh...I just can't get into it at all.  It just never goes anywhere and has a bit of a "cheesy" feel to it.

    Agree 100%. And usually I think after a few listens or in the context of the album I will enjoy it. And that has almost always been the case. The Haves doesn’t feel like that at all. This is one of the first times I don’t have the desire to even listen to again. Oh well. Hopefully the rest of the album kicks ass!  (I like Long Way)

    I thought Uke songs was cute. Lacked the magic and atmosphere of Into the Wild. But it was cute.

    It didn’t grab me right away, but I don’t think it necessarily is a song that will. I think it will take a few listens to start picking up things and having things stand out.

    Think it’s an artistic choice he’s making, but really don’t like the breathy, almost asthmatic way he’s trailing off his lines in The Haves.

    The song is too cheddar for me too. More of a minor gripe this, but there’s something a bit unnerving about a man worth hundreds of million of dollars taking about the “haves.”

    I kinda like The Long Way though. Solid enough.

    It’s not because sirens was overplayed. It’s because it’s not good (just many peoples opinion).
