They are very lucky. They have achieved that with their fantastic, setlist always changing, live shows and us as fans are the ones that allow it to happen. The other option I guess is not to see shows which for me is not an option at all. I will say coworkers of mine are sick of me whenever I bring up vacation though. I envy those who can just drop everything with very little notice and follow this band.bootlegger10 said:

To be fair, ticketmaster's actual policy is to offer refunds when a show is rescheduled and the new dates are announced. I've had it happen a few times over the last year and had no issues.mpedone said:Poncier said:
And there's absolutely no way another refund window won't be opened once (or maybe I should say if) new dates are announced. It would be a completely unethical business practice otherwise.JimmyV said:How many people are going to see that refund deadline and get their money back today only to see those tickets resold at new price points next week? Just an ugly situation.
So, folks should wait.

Motley Crue has gotten more feedback from Ten Club and the band than we have since that Nov update.PJNB said:

a show I have tickets to in a locally owned independent venue is not responding to requests for refunds for a postponed show (Death From Above). not impressed.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I believe RATM had this situation occur. I got great day of seats to Elton last night thanks to what I learned from EV and the Earthings! Last minute tickets is the new way. While I wont be at MSG, I can say that I have lost all fear when it comes to arriving in a city and not having tickets. As long as I have starbucks wifi (and in reality, pub wifi), I will see you inside.RS65573 said:Did we not learn with the Earthlings tour wait until the last minute, prices are too high or no one is going? Face to Fan changes things for sold out shows though that those apply to. If you go to a city and do not have tickets and you have a BAL like situation for tickets you will not get in very likely.Gibson said:

This is my strategy for the Paul McCartney shows too.OceansJenny said:

And I just want to repeat myself when I note that once McCartney wraps up his second night in Seattle he will have played Seattle more often, since 2013, than Pearl Jam. Setting aside the justified frustration that the band has held on to our money for two years and still hasn't announced a plan for when they'll fulfill that contract, the truth is that the band hasn't toured that much for years and appears to be uninterested in touring again. At some point our enthusiasm for a band that barely functions anymore is on us.
I did, however, see McCready play with Jason Isbell in Seattle. That was cool. Good cover of Jimi Hendrix. Pair that with the Eddie Vedder show, and all I need is to see the other guys in their side projects this summer and my "Pearl Jam" 2022 concert viewing will have happened.Seattle 1992, Seattle 1992, Seattle 1993, Seattle 1995, Seattle 1996, Seattle 1998, Seattle 2001, Seattle 2002, Seattle 2005, Gorge 2006, Seattle 2009, Seattle 2013, Chicago 2016 x2, Seattle 2018 x2, San Diego 2022, Nashville 2022, Seattle 2022 - Eddie Vedder0 -

This is one thing I'm confident in saying will absolutely not happen. You can't take tickets that people bought to a show, postpone that show for two years, then say "you know what? We're rescheduling that show and starting all over from scratch" (and raising prices too).Habit4me said:
Ok, 1% it happens. And if it does, the band can go fuck themselves lol.Kevinman said:
So that means you know the way it will play out. Do tell.Habit4me said:
0% chance this happens.Kevinman said:My guess how ticketing goes.
New lottery happens, all lottery winners from 2020 and 2022 are combined and seniority determines seating no matter when you bought.
Not saying I like this, having tix since 2020, but that’s just how I think it will be.
Seems like the easiest way for them to do it.
I've been patiently holding onto GA Pit tickets for Denver and good seats for San Diego. I'm one of the lucky "higher number" fan club members that signed up before the 2020 ticket lotto and somehow was fortunate enough to snag GA for Denver and some really really really awesome seats for the San Diego show.
I've received countless emails from 10c, Ticketmaster, etc stating my tickets would be valid for the rescheduled shows.
If they fuck this up and decide to do a new lottery for everyone who's been holding onto their tickets for the last two years that will be the last straw for me.
If they canceled the tour and gave everyone a refund while not giving an option to hold onto tickets, than sure. But that's not what they did.
If that happens I'm pretty comfortable saying I'll never pay $$ to see them again. Would be a HUGE slap in the face to people that have held on to tickets the past 2 years.0 -
Maybe i'm really behind on this, but were you all aware of the QR code - apple wallet - covid vaccine records?
I am traveling out of the country in a few weeks, and my destination accepts proof of vaccination ONLY as a QR code. Copy or even original vaccine card is not accepted.
I google searched how to get a QR code for Virginia, and apparently every state has a record of this (the state you were vaccinated in). All you do is type in your name and date of birth, and you get a QR code with your vaccination dates that can be downloaded onto your phone.
Felt that this was relevant to share, especially if the QR code becomes the standard for proof with travel and concerts2010: Cleveland

EVERYONE else has figured it out though. It’s not a unique situation to PJ.2-feign-reluctance said:I'm holding on. I get that he might not be the most detail-oriented guy, but Ed thinking the dates had already been announced almost a month ago remains super weird. Did something change? We'll probably never know.

Someone else mentioned it but maybe he did not at the time know the air date of the podcast. To think that the band is so out of the loop not knowing that their shows are now on sale or not would surprise me a bit.JimmyV said:I get that he might not be the most detail-oriented guy, but Ed thinking the dates had already been announced almost a month ago remains super weird. I wonder if Kelly Curtis' retirement has anything to do with any of this.
