The last 200 sold out in 2 minutes. It was sold out by 10:31 am. Assuming people didn’t get orders in for a few minutes after getting the email and getting through checkout, I would say between 2,000-3,000 copies (based on around 100 sold per minute). Will we see the rest of the pressing at Target in August? Possibly.

I never complain either but this is so true. I was just looking at the other merchandise to perhaps combine it with some other stuff BOOM sold-out. If you don't live on this website 24/7 you never get a fair shot at anything. I hope they start to recognise that this leads to UNHAPPY customers who pay a PREMIUM FEE to even access this website and be a so-called Ten Club member.
lol, do I really need a 3rd copy of No Code? I've now got my original that I bought in a record shop in Saskatoon in '98 (that I think was a promo copy because it has a hole punched in a corner). That's the one I spin relgiously. It sounds great plus it reminds me of driving across Canada. I bought the 2016 issue too.
I'm totally a sucker for colour vinyl. Ordered.
It’s likely a cut-out. Unsold copies of records were shipped back to the distributor, where they were "cut out" by drilling a hole or sawing a corner. It signified that the artist would recieve no royalties from this copy. These records were then resold in bulk to record stores at a discount, which had a "cut-out bin" of cheap clearance records.
Thanks, I knew promo copies would have holes punched, but had no idea that vinyl was so unpopular in the 90s that they got sent back to the distributer, then redistributed at lower prices. This makes sense as I bought it 2 years after it came out.
I think the hole punch also prevented the record store from returning the discounted bulk purchased albums to the record label again for a refund.

Probably wasn’t limited to one per bc of the Polaroids. I suspect there was more than one fan buying multiple copies to complete the C O D E Polaroids in clear vinyl. Damn completists.
Its always the same. They limit shit to make it flippable then hate on flippers. Stupid ethos. Just make 1 available to each member simple. But no. I don't need it but it does fuck me off watching this happen time after time then look on ebay see! 10c cause the problem.

If they are paying to get it remastered this will be easily available in black or even a different variant in short order. I get some people go crazy for colored vinyl but if you are interested in the music I have no doubt this will be available at retail down the line.
