    it's SOLAT for the sheer energy, but Breath for the feeling and lyrics. That's not to say that SOLAT doesn't have great lyrics or Breath has no energy, but that's just how i feel.
    If Pearl Jam was a beer, they'd probably be the best beer in the world!!

    I love both too much to choose..SOLAT i saw live and it blew me the hell away. And it is just so..intense! Yet Breathe is so gorgeous..but SOLAT by a hair if i had to choose.

    SOLAT but i can't get used to the studio version...mtv unplugged still is the best...

    breath is ok...rare songs are not better than the others just because they are rare ;)

    definately SOLAT. and contrary to luthien over here, i find the studio version better than the MTV U.P. don't know why. i mean - the unplugged is definately a kickass version, but the soundtrack one kills it. but, that's just me. i do agree with the claim that rare songs are not better because they're rare. they're not. they're just rare.

    I really love both songs. SOLAT really kicks ass. Everytime I hear it I can't help but dance. Breath is just awesome in it's own skin.

    Have never heard Breath live though. I can't choose! Sorry, this one's a toss up for me.

    Heard both live in Pistoia - very happy! Solat is still my fave though, I have to say. Maybe just for sentimental reasons, as I have loved the song as soon as I heard it.
