Unfortunately this one isn't in top condition. Might be a cheap $2 pick up back in the day or one that I "rescued" from a friend that wasn't treating his records well.
My bud has all his lps stacked in his dusty hot/cold garage with cats, smoke/gas...I tried to reason with him but nope. It's his stuff, but painful to see.

Mine is brand new original. I got it when it first came out and then I walked around my house singing "I Hate Children" and "Kill the Poor". My parents showed the pig next door my records, he didn't approve, and then they took them away from me. I tried to explain that I did kinda dislike kids, but "Kill the Poor" was satire. When I was in my late twenties I went to help my dad get the house ready to sell and found my stack of records hidden away in perfect condition. So happy they didn't throw them in the trash like they told me they did. Also, I'm a teacher now.

I played some Beethoven the other sight (Sonatas) and was reminded yet again how Ludwig's music has it all- power, grace, beauty, emotion, genius, everything. A true force of nature!
I haven't heard this rendition. Any others to compare or contrast to?
