This is actually one of my least favorite songs in the PJ catalog!  Skip it everytime  😉

Absolutely love the tags at the end though when played live

“I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on” is my favorite line of any PJ song.

I like when they used that disco ball to shoot tons of lights over the crowd during this song. It's a little on the light fluffy side for me, but does have some touching lyrics that can mean a lot to people dealing with stuff. Virtual group hug!!!

One of my favorite PJ songs. This one resonates with me so much. When my first son was born, the line "I wish I was the verb 'to trust' and never let you down" hit me like a ton of bricks. So much so that I had 'to trust' tattooed on my forearm in Ed's writing as a constant reminder to try my best to never let my family down.

Sorry, I can't stand this song. I'm not sure what it is about it, because I do like a lot of PJs slower, sappier material, but I just could never take Wishlist.

People are talking about the '03 tour versions... I wasn't super into it at the time cause it felt like the song was going 9-10 minutes and i've had rather heard it at regular-length-plus-one-other-song... It was a new-beer song for me at my 4 shows that tour.

Now, though, I like those versions with the Buzzcocks tags probably more than any other version.

I hated it when it first came out, total snooze fest however it really has grown on me overtime.  I love the simplicity of the song and message behind it.  The 03 versions were waaaaaay too long imho.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

It's my wife's favorite PJ song. She loves the lyrics.
