    I'm so excited to get this and started thinking what is going to really make it sing in the right tone for this guitar, and I realize I know mostly stones riffs!

    What song should I learn so when this comes I can shred???

    I have been playing for 30 years, but I'm no Mccready, so nothing too crazy.

    Yellow Ledbetter is the obvious opening test for me.  Not too difficult to learn for beginner / intermediate (open lick of course, not the solo)

    Is it just me or does the email announcement make it seem like the guitar is made by Fender exclusively to be made available to Ten Club members, vs. a situation where the Pearl Jam webstore procured a quantity of these guitars from Fender and are making them available to Ten Club members? I don't think anything intentionally decieving but I was just worried about someone plunking down $2k for something they thought was a little bit more exclusive than it actually is.

    Maybe it's just me?

    Is the autograph really a “production” Polaroid???? So not hand signed…

    Also I would love to own a “replica” of one of Mike’s guitars but seriously…. I can buy a pawn shop guitar fender that sounds the same when I play it.  This whole obsession with the “special years” is just a supply demand thing where rich d bags buy up a lot of the limited market and it goes insane.

    There is no reason these guitars are this overpriced.  

    One of my favorite “fables” of Nirvana was Kurt Cobain shopped pawn shops looking for throw away pedals/guitars to make a crazy sound.  This is nothing but a money grab.

    If Mike ever want to actually sell his stage played guitar ill bid, but the replica thing is kinda just sad… why???
