My order from the initial ten club batch arrived in Canada yesterday.   The customs declaration stated it was done on 11/27.   I guess just under 4 weeks for mail delivery during a pandemic Christmas season isn't too shabby.

    Hello.
I'm not sure if this has already been answered. I'm not seeing it in the thread.
Does the record and/or sleeve of the purple Ten that were shipped by Ten Club look any different from the ones from Target?
Is there a different hype sticker or barcode, or any way to tell a difference between them?
    Thanks.

That's what I was thinking, but someone on another board is saying theirs is from Ten Club and not Target, and has a different hype sticker on the top right.
So I'm wondering if anyone has an image of the one shipped from Ten Club and really does look any different.
If not, the person on the other board is just a liar?

    They are a collector.
  • Does the purple version have 2020 on it anywhere? For instance, the 2017 reissue has 1991 and 2017 to indicate it's the 2017 reissue. SO does the 2020 version say 1991 and 2020? The reason I ask is I just came across a purple copy with 1991 and 2017, not 1991 and 2020.

OK so every pic I've found of the rear of the cover and the record labels has 1991, 2017 Epic. There was in fact a reissue done in 2017 that has these dates on it. So why would this version not have 2020 on it anywhere?

I'm guessing it's the same pressing as 2017.

They already have stacks of labels/jackets produced in a warehouse somewhere that they are/were using to produce the black versions of this pressing that are all over the place. To save money they aren't going to redesign the otherwise identical labels and jacket to a new year. This happens all the time with represses.

And yes aside from the color this pressing is identical to the 2017. It VERY likely uses the exact same plates/stampers.

It is the same cut, and same cover. The deadwax of the vinyl will have a job number for MPO (the company that pressed these). The job number will begin with 20-####, showing that these were pressed in 2020 meaning its a repress of the 2017 version.
