Biden seemed to get sharper over the past year and a half. Early in the primaries, he really seemed like he was on Planet Melmac. Like he was too old for all this. But now I think that was just rust from sitting on the sidelines for a few years because it was Hillary’s turn to be president. Once he got back in the swing of things, he was just like he was as vice-president under Obama.
Now, it's time for Biden to resign so they can do what they planned all along: shove a woman of color down the throats of the non-racist, non-sexist MAGA. Bwaahhhaaahahahahahah!

The debates were what convinced me... Neither he nor Trump came across as senile during those.

Yeah same here. Going into the first debate, I thought it could’ve been an issue; Biden stumbling when trying to make his points while Trump, though full of shit, coming off in control. But it wasn’t an issue at all.
"Even as we hurt we hoped." "This is the era of just redemption." "How could catastrophe possibly prevail over us?" "We will raise this wounded world into a wondrous one." "There is always light if we are only brave enough to see it, if we are only brave enough to be it."

I didn't even want to watch the debates for fear of that. Does he seem old? Yeah. Way, way, past his prime. But I'm not too worried about senility. Energy? Maybe.
It is for this reason that I wasn't pumped about the nomination. But after he was nominated I thought he and his team did a great job of showing him as human, compassionate, and empathetic (which I assume was a particular emphasis in order to counter a loathsome narcissist). I can certainly nitpick things he's said and positions he's taken but he's coming in with pretty much the right mentality. I just wish a third of the country wasn't so far gone.

I think there's a chance they did it early in case someone was planning an attack, protest or other disruption to the events timed for 12:00
Regardless, glad that POS is no longer my president.

The cut from Biden's call to reject "manufactured" facts to Pence sitting on his hands as others applaud is as telling as anything in this broadcast.
