I signed the infrastructure bill doesn't get votes if people don't see the work getting done. I know for some Yellow Dogs on here the he's not Trump or whatever is enough, but for most people spending that kind of money and not seeing results is a big deal. In 2-3 years when there is proof that this money is going to infrastructure I will celebrate and say Biden got it done.

Did I say anything changed overnight. A precedent was set that allowed many things to change within the legal system of the US immediately. Sure even then people had to get in the streets, go to court etc, but there was now an established legal precedent. This was just signing a spending package, sure it’s the “law” of the land but with how that money is going to be distributed and the potential for complete mishandling at the state and local levels it is not even close to worth celebrating like the civil rights bill was per Jugglers example. I don’t disagree with the second part you added to your statement. I will be happy as well provided that there is no mismanagement of the funds on the state and local levels. I’m all for everything in the bill provided it gets completed. This is part of the problem with the dem base. They expect change to happen overnight. That is not the way things work...especially for a bill like this that will take years for people to actually see the results. Getting this bipartisan bill done is a HUGE accomplishment.
I signed the infrastructure bill doesn't get votes if people don't see the work getting done. I know for some Yellow Dogs on here the he's not Trump or whatever is enough, but for most people spending that kind of money and not seeing results is a big deal. In 2-3 years when there is proof that this money is going to infrastructure I will celebrate and say Biden got it done.
Some people will just never be satisfied I guess.

This is what bugs me about the unemployment discussion. How much unemployment is the 'right' amount?
Unemployment comes in multiple forms: cyclical, structural, and frictional. And it's not necessarily 'good' or 'bad'.
There's many ways that unemployment can be good.
For example, if people can afford to take time off to find a job they like more.
Or if technology replaces workers to make a business more efficient (is this good or bad?).
Or if competition causes one company to succeed, while another company fails and has to lay off it's staff (good or bad?)
