Sadly I think that the Rs are getting ready to truly tear the country apart and are plotting something big.

Well, I got a decision to make... open a beer... or go to bed
I don’t understand why that is an either/or?

Aside from the obvious joke that the minute  Biden is announced there is no longer a fear of superspreader events, just seemed odd to sing Trumps campaign song at his current home. Sing whatever Biden’s song was, or Mmm Bop, or anything else.

They're mocking him, obviously, by taking back the song. The Village People are among a very long list of bands/artists who have objected to Trump using their songs for his benefit.

It had to be a joke question, right?

That’s a song people want to take back? I haven’t been excited about YMCA since the roller rink in middle school.

It wasn’t. Never occurred to me someone would want to take it back.

A wonderful moment. I've got all the feels, and a big weight has been lifted.

    Funny line from CBS News:
"It was striking to see how quickly the foreign leaders responded to the election call. I mean, they called it faster than some news organizations did in their rushing to congratulate the president elect."

Same here.  I was expecting that.  Kamala started talking and just like that, I started crying.  A very wonderful yet heaving moment.
And both speeches were great.  How refreshing to have some hope again!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
