The silence after him asking what a loss Chris must've been was heartbreaking. Admitting that he went somewhere else for a moment (in real time, after Howard asked the question), and Howard asking where he went, leading to Ed talking about the death of his brother about a year before CC died. Pretty tough stuff.
But some real fun moments too. Being stoned and getting freaked out by Letterman doing the do do doos from Black every night and showing up at the theater to try and finish it. Talking about how Small Town came to be and playing some of it. Covering your balls with Bradley Cooper. Stern and Robin getting all over Ed for smoking. Just a great three hours.
Stern was great. You can tell he adores Eddie and the band. Just gushed over he and them for the whole interview. But wasn't asking your basic, typical questions. And Eddie seemed quite relaxed and went a lot of places I haven't heard him go. Good stuff.
I knew Ed was involved in helping Bradley with A Star is Born. But I don't think I knew he was involved when Clint and Sean were working on it. And I wonder what the song was and if it was used for something later?
People will pay for recorded music via Spotify, but won't pay a similar price for SiriusXM which offers so much more.
Da fuk?
Sometimes they don't want your money. I was a customer for 17 years and and one day they decided that my email address, which had been on the account the entire time, was no longer a valid email address and I was locked out of my account. I gave them three months to add my email address back to my account and no one could figure out how to do it. They just kept telling me that email addresses go bad sometime in their system and they can't fix it.
