Always loved Howard, especially as an interviewer.  So glad they decided not to wait any longer for the Apollo date to re-happen (I started that thread about Howard and Pearl Jam coming in possibly).  Howard loves Pearl Jam and his interviews are always the best when he genuinely likes his subject.

Man, the stuff about Chris Cornell was pretty deep.  And talking about his brother too.  Wow. Howard is really getting him to talk.
That is Howard's super power. IMO that is what makes him the best interviewer ever.
I thought it was going to get just as deep when he started touching on Johnny Ramone.

Talking about his insistence to go commercial free on Letterman back in the day and wondering why he was such a prick lol.  "Why was I so sensitive?"

Ed really loosened up maybe halfway though. Was a pretty great interview. Unbelievably long.

It was good long show.  I knew it would be good since Howard is a big pj fan.  The glorified g story was funny. So many good answers. I liked the fact that it wasn’t rushed.
