    One of my wife’s favourite songs and she was begging me to turn it off saying “no!” “No!” while wincing 😂... which probably added to the humour.

    I think Miley seems pretty cool in general and was thinking I’d let all you Even Bro’s have it for being so closed-minded, but I decided to actually click on the clip first and...hoo boy. 

    Though on the other hand...it might be the case that this is just what you would get if you asked someone born in 1997 to do an impression of Eddie. 

    Anyway, bring on the Billie Eilish cover of Man Of The Hour.

    I went in with an open mind or I wouldn’t have bothered. The fake country twang in her voice is hilarious.

    I know Miley has lost  a close friend to Cystic Fibrosis; I have a niece and nephew with CF; CF affects the lungs and the digestive system.  I believe she did this to honor her friend.  I also believe she has a tattoo of Just Breathe, trust me folks, if you were at all familiar with CF, you would get this 100% and not be offended that someone outside your musical spectrum covered a song of your favorite artist.

    Please. We must never mention that magazine. I’m still reeling from omission of Vs and Vitalogy (and Superunknown and Dirt) from their recent Top 500.

    (And the performance is terrible.)

    Too much hatred around this board anymore.  So much for the Pearl Jam message of love, acceptance and tolerance.  Watch out for each other, take care of each other . . . that message went way over the head of most members here today.  If any of you have that much hatred and general disrespect for your fellow human beings in your heart, you're not getting it, not the music or the message in the music.

    I think you are over reacting. I don’t see a single post here attacking her personally. Basically everyone was saying what you said in bold above. I did actually laugh out loud... not because it was the offspring of the Achy Breaky Heart guy covering PJ ... I laughed because it was sooo BAD. 
    Better than my karaoke version? Probably. But I’m not on MTV. 

    It wasn’t hatred... and your attack on the “community” at large is hyperbolic.

    Are a lot of people hearing her sing for the first time? That's her sound. I wouldn't declare that the definitive version but it's cool hearing her do a Pearl Jam song.

    I thought it was cool... She's been doing music her whole life, she gets it and appreciates it. Shit, she did a song with Dolly Parton, that's cool stuff. Good on her for singing a song she enjoys.
