    A federal judge in Washington, DC, indefinitely blocked the Trump administration from freezing federal grants and loans, criticizing the move to turn off funding days after it took power as “irrational” and “imprudent” as she ruled they were likely unlawful.

    We sent a notice of intent to sue the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for illegally expediting 700 pending permit to fill or destroy wetlands across the U.S.

    The permits have been fast-tracked under the executive order declaring a national energy emergency. This action violates the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act.

    Federal judge in Rhode Island has just entered a preliminary injunction that indefinitely blocks Trump’s freeze on federal grants and loans, saying the Trump Administration “put itself above Congress.”
