    It's shame that due to being polarized, you kind of need the votes on the fringe to get things done.  It's too bad dem's and rep can find common ground and get some stuff done (like they just did with the debt limit) and remove the power of the fringe parts of both parties.. shrug.

    It’s a mistake to claim the left “fringe” and right fringe are equivalents. The fringe, and most republicans who are also fringe, but somehow not considered fringe, oppose the basic tenets of democracy and the Constitution.

    I was thinking he was just a little silly through much of the article, then he channeled Chamberlain, and now I think he's a moron.  

    Ramaswamy favors “major concessions” to Russia: ending support for Ukraine in exchange for Vladimir Putin’s pocketing another portion (beyond Crimea) of Ukraine and promising better behavior (regarding arms control and China).

    Sure, give him Crimea and something else too, I'm sure that will be it for Putin.  He'll be satisfied with some lebensraum.

    Speaking of the Washpo and crazy ideas, normally I think Thiessen is a total douche and a hack (spoiler, he is), but I actually think Biden should consider pardoning Trump.
