Looks like I’m a little late to the game on this, but I just saw it the other day. Not that it’s a big deal, I just find it entertaining that no one one thought it was a bad idea to act like you’re talking to a first grader? And they were child actors too. How corny it all comes across is funny to me. If you haven’t seen her space talk, it’s definitely worth a watch.

More importantly, did she have a Murican flag lapel pin?

No tan suit. Not sure what you’re saying? That article says they were child actors selected by YouTube. So was anything I said incorrect? Did this not look like the corniest thing you’ve seen in a while?
Again, I don’t think it’s a big deal, but was entertained while watching it the way she talked to them like they were 4. So I shared.
  • Ah the simple minded left. Someone bashes the fake VP or fake president and they can only say tan suit. This was fake as fake. Fake VP, fake president,  fake white house. Everything scripted. Everything staged. Hired actors. The "town hall" was a mess. Every day, every week, this fake dementia president shows how weak the left are. Losing everyday.
  • Can any righties on here articulate the repub border and immigration policy or legislation?

What am I saying? I am saying who the fuck cares? lol. They freaked out over a tan suit a decade ago, this feels like the same kind of fake outrage.

Corny? Sure? I don't know, it is a show on youtube meant for little kids...

If you don’t care, then don’t watch the video. I didn’t bash her, I didn’t show any form of outrage. I just said I found it entertaining based on how corny it was. If you don’t agree, don’t watch it and move on. Not sure what the big deal is here that I shared a link that made me laugh. I wasn’t even aware this existed until a few days ago, apparently it’s everywhere and I missed it. No big deal. You just seem to be arguing a point I never said and you claim to not care about. So not sure where this is going.

It's "everywhere" only on the far right outrage machine. I hadn't heard about it either because reputable news organizations realize it's not a big deal and didn't cover it. Yet a quick google search quickly shows that all the typical far right folks going on and on about it. I'd be willing to bet hardly any of them talked about how Trump paid actors to attend his speech announcing his run for the White House in 2015. That seems like a slightly bigger deal than Kamala doing some youtube show for kids with child actors.

I'm just glad that instead of talking about non-issues like global warming, war, racism, fake (we love the word "fake") pandemics and the like, that we are finally taking time to talk about the really serious shit.  It's about damn time!

Well in my google search, I did come across a Ted Cruz tweet labeling this video as "fake news."

Disingenuous nonsense simply designed to rile people up. I wish it would stop.

Good luck with that for that’s all they have, faux outrage. Nothing more to offer.

Seeing how this thread about our VP had been dead for over a year, I felt it was harmless in sharing a video that I found entertaining. No one seemed to be concerned about his thread 12 hours ago. I really don’t understand the criticism in sharing a video the VP made in the VP thread. There are threads about global warming, wars  and the pandemic, if that’s what someone wants to discuss perhaps they should visit those threads.

It's not you. You're just the one shining the light on something that appears to be "everywhere" in the far right outrage ecosystem. The reason something as dumb as this is "everywhere" amongst those people is just because it fuels their culture war bullshit.

Nothing wrong with what you posted and my sarcasm wasn't meant to be aimed at you personally.  It had more to do with things in general as Juggler so well states in his response:

I'm just glad that instead of talking about non-issues like global warming, war, racism, fake (we love the word "fake") pandemics and the like, that we are finally taking time to talk about the really serious shit.  It's about damn time!

Thanks both for clarifying. I interpreted it as a criticism for even posting it.
I’m not sure how everywhere it is since I only saw it 2 days ago.I don’t watch a ton of cable news either.

Nothing wrong with what you posted and my sarcasm wasn't meant to be aimed at you personally.  It had more to do with things in general as Juggler so well states in his response:

I am pretty sure it is nowhere in terms of places that matter to non far right extremists.

Ah the simple minded left. Losing everyday.
    presidency, senate, house.

    yeah, so much losing.

let me know when Biden publicly supports a gang of his supporters trying to hang VP Harris.

If what the article here say is true and she is being constrained from within the Biden administration, I would find that curios.  What are they afraid of?  Or is it just CNN's take and not true?

"Many in the vice president's circle fume that she's not being adequately prepared or positioned, and instead is being sidelined. The vice president herself has told several confidants she feels constrained in what she's able to do politically. And those around her remain wary of even hinting at future political ambitions, with Biden's team highly attuned to signs of disloyalty, particularly from the vice president."

Why can’t we judge anything without comparing it to the last administration?

Some people just have Trump on the mind all the time.

Well I think her unpopularity might be the reason Biden might be “confining her” politically. His own ratings are dipping, and he’s smart enough to know more Harris isn’t the cure for that. Not sure what the cure is though.

You may have heard that the former president is not behaving like any former president we have ever had and is most likely going to run again. At the very minimum he still has a stranglehold over an entire political party. So it is entirely acceptable to continue to talk about Trump and draw comparisons every chance that pops up. As polling has shown Americans have the memory of a door knob. They must be reminded of his awfulness all the time, for all I care.

I disagree. To be dismissive of that entire article simply because Biden hasn’t come out and said his supporters should hang Harris doesn’t make sense to me. Any negative news about Biden gets met with this same “what about trump” and it’s just weird to me.

On one hand, we do need to judge what's going on now on its own merits. After all, the idea is to make America great again and you can't do that just by clearing a low bar set by a different polarizing administration.

The fact that the Vikings stink is not really improved by the fact that the Lions are worse.

On the other hand, Trump is not irrelevant; I'd still say he's the most important person in America. The party still exists in his image and it's in his name and image that they're attempting to do everything they accuse everyone else of doing. At the very least, he's going to rightfully be on our minds at least until we know he's not going to run in 2024.

Then maybe he should have picked a better VP instead of just picking her because of her gender and race? He should stand by his pick and put her in a better position to succeed imo.
