I bought my tickets direct from one of the venues. After last years cancellation I was emailed last year to tell me that I could hold on to them for another year or get a voucher (credit note) for the venue. Well since I dont even live in the same country the voucher would have been rubbish, I really hope they reschedule and dont cancel.

I am quite sure that they have had 2022 dates as backup plan all along.

Very possible! Do you think they‘d announce them right away though? 🤔

Last year we got the delay notice April 9th then July 24th we got new dates out of nowhere. I would think this is the route that they want to use for 2022 since they changed things around so much for a reason I would guess. Everything is speculation at this point of course.

I agree. When they rescheduled it they said “subject to it being safe to do so”, so my guess is they may have had a back up plan for 2022 if needed.

I’m glad I never asked for a refund for the 10C tickets for Zurich.  Maybe they’ll shuffle up the order again.

Feel bad about doing the refund for you guys with Budapest now. Who knows how this lands.
  • I never bought flights for 2021.  I have started cancelling hotel reservations.  This is so depressing.

  • No way that this tour is going ahead with the current lockdowns in many countries and the fast-spreading UK coronavirus variant.
Hope we get an announcement soon.
  • UK Gov just announced that it expects everyone over the age of 18 to have been vaccinated by June. Hurrah! BST definitely happening then. Great news. Pack your bags. Book your flights. I have every confidence in this Gov...... ahem.

Agree. I have a feeling we’ll be at a stage in July where it’s possible to do the BST shows. Just that it will end up being cancelled due to the band not wanting to play (as the other Euro shows will not be ready) or the festival not getting insurance.
  • I love the positive vibes.  I wish I could share the optimism.

This is the problem, even if by some miracle BST was able to take place, there are so many other obstacles.

For what its worth: American Airlines canceled my trip to fly into Budapest and back to the US from Prague today.  The representative said they don't expect much international travel this year and are in the process of reducing flights.

Brutal.  I am still expecting to travel to Europe this summer but not expecting concerts.

Thanks for the information. I have concert tickets to Prague, but haven't made any airline or hotel reservations yet. I was going to go from Prague to Corsica/Sardinia for vacation after the show. All of this is looking less and less likely :disappointed:

I had 6 shows in 2020 then had to cancel 7 flights and some hotels, got refunded or a voucher bar 1 flight which refused any refund. Then due to the rearranged schedule I now have 8 shows and look now to cancel 7 flights for a second time. I really hope the whenever next tour I can make all 8. Reaching the point when they may tour less so before that happens.

Anyone have any luck with Swiss Air refunding flights that was last given as a credit? I am specifically talking about the Budapest to Zurich flight last summer. I got a credit but will not be using it this summer. We have until Jan 31st to book something else but before I called to try for a refund I am curious if anyone else had any luck.

I haven’t even tried yet because they have the shittiest customer service... but maybe I‘ll give it a try today.
What really pissed me off was them giving out the Budapest-Zürich credit in Hungarian currency even though I paid in Euro and then saying I can only use it for a flight from Hungary. Why?!? It’s money, no matter the currency. Just a blatant rip-off

Ya now that you mention it that happened to me as well. Would be nice to at least get an extension but I fear this plus another flight we have will be chalked up as money lost due to covid sadly.

Their planning timeline much longer no doubt. Probably have another couple of months before a decision on Uk. Vaccination rates are very high in Uk compared to rest of Europe.

With the UK completing doses 12 weeks apart their will be a log jam in about 6 or 8 weeks. The government are hopeful most people will have had the first dose by some point in September, meaning full vaccination by the end of the year. Added to the fact that the band won't come to the UK if the whole of Europe isn't available and I think its obvious where this is going unfortunately.

    Thats probably a bigger factor.

The problem we're having in the UK is that the government is now refusing to even commit to making sure the second dose will be given within the appropriate amount of time.
They're saying 12 weeks between doses but there is no science to support that the vaccination is effective with such a large gap. If it becomes even bigger then things are a real mess.

It seems to be a supply issue. But with the new vaccine hopefully starting sometime in the spring things might pick up, but a Euro tour has next to no chance of happening at this point.
