If Corduroy and Lighting Bolt had a baby, it would be Who Ever Said
And if they had an abortion it would be Olé
Haha! Yeah, that really is the worst song in their recording history. I wonder if they are aware of that. Like, couldn't someone in their camp (band member, producer, guitar tech, roadie) said something? "Hey guys, maybe you want to shelve that one? I'm not sure it's your best work."
Absolutely agree. I remember being excited to hear them on Fallon with no clue what song they were gonna play and seriously didn’t even finish watching. Just not my jam. Thankfully they pressed on with LB

Seriously, think of all the songs shelved from Ten: YL Betterman Wash Footsteps Alone Just a Girl Brother etc.
then they not only release, but go on live tv playing Ole!

But Betterman wasn't sheved from Ten. It wasn't even played to the rest of the band until they were making Vs., I thought. I'm sure Eddie probably wasn't even considering using songs from a previous band when he was starting to make his first record with the new group he joined.

Who Ever Said is 100% up there with some of their best outputs.... It's got all the elements of what makes PJ, PJ when it comes to their rockers... While I absolutely love every song on Gigaton - I am constantly humming various parts from WES.
With that said - My love for this album cannot be overstated. I've posted numerous times at this point - Gigaton is among their best work. Period.
