While I would not go as far as you it is my favourite song on the album right now.

I wouldn't go that far either, but whatever you are feeling is certainly not wrong.  That's the beauty of music and words and how they touch you personally . . . and that changes at any given time.  If that song and those words and that emotion prompted you to post this, it must have been a fairly personal strong feeling, and that's never a bad thing.  Good on you.

Don't come closer or I'll have to go

I love how Ed s voice builds in this song.  I can’t wait to experience all of gigaton live.

I have to think about this, my initial reaction would be no to this.  However, a general question “what is the best 2 minutes of any Pearl Jam song” is fun to think about.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I considered that as well but the lack of lyrics puts it a close second for me.

That 2 minute window is absolutely awesome, no doubt. Fun to play loud, fun to sing along - great songwriting.

The lack of lyrics/vocals is what makes it great.

It really is just a perfect storm of music, lyrics, emotion, tempo, etc. With work and kid responsibilities, it's been hard to listen to the album as much as I want so oftentimes the only moment I'm able to hear it is with my ear buds in while out for a run. Tracks 1-4 are about as perfect for a run as anything in their catalogue.
