    "The Divine Perfume," off of Jeff Ament's new EP American Death Squad.

    "In the days following the postponement of our tour, I found it necessary to find an outlet for the energy we had created going into the tour. Pivot was the word of March. So, every morning, I retreated to the studio with the goal of writing a song every day, no matter how shite. Days of isolating and watching the news of the destruction courtesy the virus (and the ineptitude of our leadership or as named here, the American Death Squad) made for vivid dreams and a helplessness. These were some of the first songs out of the gate. Raw and succinct." - Jeff Ament

    UPDATE: just got the digital download link in my email after purchasing the vinyl. Sweet!

    Does vinyl purchase also give us access to digital?

    Nope. The 4 dollar digital download gives you all 3 MP3, FLAC & WAV formats.

    So if this 7” can be made by August and was just written in the last couple months shouldn’t that mean that the 2 missing fan club 7” should be here before August.

    I got it. :) Received 2 digital download links, as I bought the vinyl & the 4 dollar download.

    You would think so, right? Jeff needed to get out that energy to make new revenue but he sat on the singles for years and years as did the rest of the band and STILL ARE. Once again, Pearl Jam is pushing out new merchandise without taking care of their prior responsibilities. If Jeff needed to get some artistic energy out, he could've been working on the 2019 Deep Magazine.

    That was a blistering EP, 5 songs in under 7 minutes. I really like the divine perfume, it sounds great

    Apparently the link is triggering Google's safety browsing protocol. The ctsendgrid url must be on their blacklist? I've never had this happen before, but it's nice to know that it's there.
