To clarify my buddy never fully paid for his ticket but didn’t get a refund for the partial amount he paid. His situation isn’t really important tho, it’s pretty much his fault for not getting the refund and I’m only adding “pretty much” cause he’s a friend lol. I only wanted to hear what you guys had to say about the contract yet to be signed. Like I know it’s bullshit but still was hoping someone with more knowledge could confirm that.0

Pearl Jam has announced they’ll be there. And I’m pretty sure their management knows how to vet festivals to make sure all the details have been covered. I think we’ll be okay.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh0

I would say that these people are kicking rocks because they're pissed they done fucked up. And maybe their friend is indeed the mayor of Asbury Park. And maybe that friend spoke sweet nothings in their ears to make them feel better.
And at best, if there really is a legit issue here - especially where there may be more than these two knuckleheads in play - it is still way less than enough to be considered as a rampant issue. And maybe - albeit considering the lack of details on their part - if there's a legit issue here I'm sure they'd have some kind of course of action, whether with customer service or a lawyer. Otherwise, I don't see some fantastical idea that this show is being help up because of a mayor of a shore town whom I'm sure desperately will take the draw in tourist income and taxes captured in the month of September coming out of global pandemic. On a semi-related note - this is why Facebook is trash.

I sold my tickets to see Chris Cornell in 2015 because it was a Wednesday and there would be other chances. (There weren't.)I had a ticket for Beastie Boys & Rage Against The Machine (with opener Busta Rhymes!) back in 2000. Beasties were on the back end of Hello Nasty & the Sounds of Science, and Rage was on the heels of Battle of L.A. & the covers album. They postponed the tour, and refunds were offered, but I kept my ticket because they were 2 of my favorite acts.Rage would break up soon after. They haven't made new material as RATM since.I still have the un-redeemed ticket. The lone ray of sunshine, is I got to see the Beasties in Tampa in '04.Late to the show, but when me & my date got to our nosebleed seats, they popped out 2 aisles away from us & busted out "Intergalactic"Take the W's you can, folks😅Post edited by Go Animal onPJ - 09/23/98: West Palm Beach II, 08/12/00: Tampa, 04/12/03: Orlando, 04/13/03: Tampa, 06/12/08: Tampa, 06/27/08: Hartford, 09/22/09: Seattle II, 04/11/16: Tampa, 05/01 & 05/02/16: MSG I & II, 09/18/21: Sea Hear Now, 10/01 & 10/02/21: Ohana Encore I & II, 05/06 & 05/07/22: Los Angeles (Inglewood) I & II, 09/11/22: MSG, 09/16/22: Nashville, 09/02/23: St. Paul II, 09/07/23: Chicago II, 09/18 & 09/19/23: Austin I & II, 05/16 & 05/18/24: Las Vegas I & II, 08/29 & 08/31/24: Wrigley Field I & II, 09/03 & 09/04/24: MSG I & II, 09/27 & 09/29/24: Ohana Festival I & IIEV - 08/04 & 08/05/08: (Eddie solo, w/Liam Finn) NYC I & II, 11/27 & 11/28/12: (Eddie solo, w/Glen Hansard) Orlando I & II, 02/09 & 02/10/22: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Chicago I & II, 09/30/23: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Ohana Festival

Probably more likely to get a Danny Clinch harmonica solo during a Pearl Jam song and a Bruce appearance during Patti Sciafla's set. But we can dream!0 -
