Honestly, they could play mary had a little lamb 10 times and I would be happy. Im just really happy to be heading to a pearl jam concert for the first time in three years. Hanging with friends, having fun, toes in the dirty sand, and LIVE MUSIC.
Avetts are great live. Patti Smith is a punk legend (I could see Ed joining her for people have the power to close out her set). Patti Scialfa playing means there is a chance for you know what. Dr. Dog and Matt & Kim are a decent undercard. This has the potential to be a tremendous and memorable day of live music.
Yeah I will be half a mile from the stage, it will be overcrowded, it will take forever to get a beer or food past 5pm, and getting out of there will be a nightmare. I AM SO PSYCHED FOR THIS!

i just bagged 2 GA+ for basically face value, plus fees on the ticketmaster site.
My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw the listing.
$389, plus fees.
Next cheapest GA+, $1,550 plus fees.
Boom.
How much were the fees?
It was $920, all in.
The fact that I'm over the moon about dropping $470 for a GA+ ticket to a music festival just illustrates what a fucking insane year this has been.
For the record, I want the 1st song to be Pendulum.
Resale fees are brutal.
They really are. Both the seller and the buyer get hit pretty hard jacking the price up even more causing even more fees. Really respect what Pearl Jam was able to do for the spring tour 2020 with the face fan to fan. Hopefully that can continue.

Resale fees on the ohana tix I bought were close to $400. At this point, it was worth every penny. But that is insane, 50% premium on tix and all for TM. Crooks!
I almost skipped Fenway N2 in 2018 and it turned out to be their last show for three years.
I sold my tickets to see Chris Cornell in 2015 because it was a Wednesday and there would be other chances. (There weren't.)
Skipped REM in 2008 after Accelerate for the same reasons....next tour I'll see em....although with Chris, that one is tough :(
I skipped seeing REM in 1999… my buddy and I had tickets and we just blew it off thinking we’d see them down the road. Never got around to seeing them.
o yeah - the having tickets part is rough

Is anyone on the fence/was on the fence on this one w/ Covid? Fully vaccinated here, but this is still a few months off, and with folks packed in based on those pics, etc. I'm thinking I'm going to regret not going (if I get a resale ticket)....

I have tickets and I’m fully vaccinated but it still gives me pause. I’m hoping by September I’ll be more comfortable with a bunch of sweaty people breathing down my neck. 😬

There are 2 VIP passes available on the ticketmaster site right now for $889, plus fees.
Basically $1k per after fees.
It's a lot of coin, but it's the best I've seen for any VIP passes so far by a lot.
Someone bought them. It was tempting, I’m not going to lie.

So my buddy and his girlfriend were a couple payments into their layaway tickets last year before it got canceled. Idk if they waited to long or what but they couldn’t get a refund. His girlfriend knows the Asbury mayor and brought it up to him. Heard this from him today:
Could that really possible? Seems extremely unlikely for a whole festival to be planned, tickets sold, and acts signed without having the go ahead of the city.

I’m confused. The first issue you mentioned was that someone couldn’t get a refund, but then the message you posted complains about people not getting tickets. 🤷🏻♂️

First it was postponed not cancelled. Second yes they waited too long. Third why are they looking for tickets if they already are stuck with tickets they wanted refunds for?

I had a layaway plan for Ohana which uses the same ticketing service. Layaway plan was refundable less a service fee at any time until last payment made. Once last payment made it’s like any other ticket purchase. So yeah, this story doesn’t add up.
There is one thing though. Under the layaway if you missed a payment you forfeited your previous payments and your ticket. With the passage of time if people didn’t update their credit card expiry dates they could have been screwed by this when charges restarted. If this is what happened I could see a politician having an issue with it, but I still can’t see how a necessary approval could be outstanding at this stage.

I would have grabbed those
Saw under $300 per once so far
I hemmed and hawed and eventually bought one in case my GF wants to go.
If she doesn't, I'll post the ticket is available in this thread.
