Joker mask on the mic stands gotta be a shot at the sitting president and a callback to the 04 tour does in not? Maybe I am looking too much into. Great tastes in masks either way!
    Exactly my thinking as well

So Ed's singing wasn't live right? Because it sounded like studio version.

That's what I thought too.  Then again I wasn't sure if any of it was live.   I guess maybe coordinating instruments over multiple locations without lag is a bit tough?

It was all recordings they each made live in their homes, professionally tracked together. That was not the studio version of any of their tracks.
10/31/93 Berkeley (Baba!), 10/1/94 Bridge School, 9/16/96 Seattle (In My Tree!), 10/19/96 & 10/20/96 B. School (Alt Corduroy & Alt Porch!), 10/25/03 B. School, 6/1/03 Mtnview (Crazy Mary! You Are!), 11/29/13 Portland (All Those Yesterdays! Even Flow!), 10/25/14 Bridge School (Rain! Fuckin Up! TOTD!), 5/13/22 Oakland (W.M.A.! Immortality!)

Didn’t sound like the studio version to me at all. I think he recorded the audio first and then put it over the video he shot with his family

Basically the process they use for most of these things is similar to how bands record albums with seperate tracks. One of the members would have recorded their part 1st which would then have been sent to the next person to add their instument to the mix and so on. They are live performance just that each member performs their part at a different time and location. Lag over the internet does not allow for the band to play at seperate sites at the same time over the internet.

The instruments sound live but the singing definitely not.

It was very cool but, other artists were in the same room wonder why they chose not to play together? I thought Modern Girl by SK was better, especially cool that Carrie was playing an SG that Eddie usually plays(same color, wonder if Ed gave it to her?) and had a WHO Quadrophenia sticker on it.

Technically your supposed to try and stay in a bubble.  Preferably of 6 people or less.  They all have families, so most likely their families are their bubble.   At least that's what they've been saying here in Canada.  Have a bubble of 6 people or less that your are close with.  Socially distance from every one else.

Eddie called and asked if he could borrow it.  I said Ed, only if you play DOTC.

Move past that overrated movie. It's been 12 years.

Singing live? Looked like he was lipsyncing/having fun over a prerecorded track.

That’s what I think as well. It’s not the studio recording, he sang it live first and recorded it and then did the video. Fine by me

It was at this point in the show I got further confirmation that my daughter is slowly but surely becoming a fan as she spotted the WHO sticker and asked me, is that a Pearl Jam sticker Dad? LOL, I loved it!

I just realised how stupid my comment came out. It's pretty obvious. And what igotid88 is refering too also.

    Should have had Stone sing:

I thought it was cool. Looked like the band was having fun. Sounded good too, albeit pre-recorded. Will be a fun one live eventually...

We knew it would all be pre-recorded.  All of these are music videos essentially.   Take what you can get.

Definitely not the studio version. Loved that everyone brought a different perspective to the song. When are you EVER going to see PJ do anything like that again? Completely worth staying up for.

It was for charity during a pandemic.  Let’s not be be overly critical of it.  Improvise, adapt and overcome.

Really enjoyed all of it! They could have just sat in their rooms and played their instruments, but they really put a lot of effort into it. Loved how the visuals matched the song.
