    They gotta play at least a few shows besides Ohana this year. I'll be bummed if there's not a Seattle gig.

    After Ohana I could see Painted Shield play a few shows in October / November.

    Brittany Davis, “I Choose to Live” EP

    The most eclectic debut of the year thus far comes from this singer-songwriter who hit the Seattle scene as a member of Stone Gossard’s Painted Shield side project, which dropped its sophomore LP in March. On their first solo outing, released through the Pearl Jam guitarist’s Loosegroove Records, Davis deftly merges R&B, hip-hop, electro-pop, rock and dance music across six variegated tracks that played well during their NPR Tiny Desk performance. Catch them at Timber! Outdoor Music Festival next month.

    I ordered the coke bottle clear from Easy Street. Haven’t received any shipping notification as of yet. The receipt says the release date is tomorrow.

    Juno UK sent me the black vinyl. They said they haven't recieved or heard any update on the coke bottle vinyl.

    My local shop only received the black version. They haven’t received any clear, but weren’t told about a delay from their distributor either so they don’t know what is going on.

    I am going to be going by the shop later today. I am thinking about just grabbing a copy of the black pressing to have one to listen to until the clear version finally makes an appearance. I have a black copy and RSD splatter version of the first album and usually listen to the black version to cut down on any wear and tear on the splatter version. I might do the same with this one.

    The weird thing is now alot of online record store sites list the coke bottle vinyl as unavailable. All with no new release date.

    There are still a few still taking pre orders, but also alot who stopped taking pre orders.
    Would of been great if there was an update on the coke bottle vinyl edition.

    I preordered mine from Indy CD & Vinyl in Broad Ripple. They have the black version available for sale online, but the indie version says not available. I emailed them to ask if they knew anything about the delay and a possible new release date, but they haven't got back to me yet.

    I ordered a copy of the clear from Luna in Indy on Friday because my local shop didn't get any. I got a shipping notification on Saturday and the clear is now listed as out of stock on Luna's site. Hopefully it is indeed the clear when it arrives.
