Well I ate shit pretty hard yesterday and now my phone is buried in the snow somewhere at the bottom of the Horseshoe Bowl at Breckenridge. I still have my work phone, but it’s an iPhone 6 that’s cracked to hell. If I see here that DTE is playing some time this morning before we head out for the day, I’ll give it a shot - but I feel like Ned Nederlander using a rusty, heavy gun for the big shootout.

I love Light Years. My fave track off of Binaural.
Best example of the binaural recording technique that Tchad Blake had them use. You can HEAR them standing around playing the song. Each part comes in & you know exactly who's doing what. Next time you can, listen to it again on a good pair of headphones. Especially the ending. SO GOOD.

I ran Brill but at the time of the wipeout I was down at the bottom. I was flying. My buddy ahead of me didn’t realize I had eaten it, so on the way out he lead me through some knee deep powder around the few trees at he bottom there. I was wiped by the time we were done. Didn’t realize about the phone until a bit later.
(which is kinda the point of the song, ironically)
