They paused show about 10 minutes ago to apparently reboot Sirius computers. Ed did solo acoustic, no mic Keep Me in Your Heart. Band off stage now waiting for restart

For a guy who I mostly hear talking about how great my favorite bands (Pearl Jam, Wilco, Radiohead) are, David Fricke is so hard to listen to. So unctuous.
Even Flow tuned down 1/2 steps as well! I think that since Ed's vocal
issues they have been tuning down more songs they haven't tuned down
prior, to give him a little relief
I was at an Old 97's show in 2004 at the (formerly) Wilshire Theatre in L.A. when the power went out. Rhett Miller, who's a belter even on mic, climbed out into about the 8th row and did a half-hour unamplified and at the top of his ample lungs. He sweated out about 10 pounds. I thought he might have a stroke.

Nice! Rhett is awesome to see live.
Have you only seen him solo or have you gotten to see the band?

Only solo thus far. Hoping to see then in Chicago in October.

Their shows do not vary a ton from tour to tour, but they are reliably high-energy and fun. And Murry will take the mic every four to five songs.
People are gonna start dumping msg tix after this. Their mojo is ruined. Tough stuff
I dunno about that, the reboot really killed a lot of the momentum and that wasn't necessarily their fault, plus the mix is not necessarily portraying what they are hearing there in term of mojo
