This may have already been discussed but do we think we will be losing out on the taxes every fan to fan sale?
If I’m not mistaken that was the issue they corrected last year where initial listings posted and sold without the tax and the seller saw a credit posted on the statement for the difference.

Good to see the practice of dropping full rows of premiums is alive and well at Baltimore. SMDH

Philly as well. Wondering, could they have not read the market right with these prices, and tickets still being available at this point? Calling a lot of these seats "Premium" is a bit of a stretch.

Yah, I think it's rather optomistic that they'll sell all those seats. They're mostly back of the lower bowl seats asking for pretty high prices.  I suppose it's a positive 10c members got a lot of the closer tickets, but those seats aren't great at the back. Plus it looks like they put them all for sale at the same time.   Usually the secret with platinum is to trickle them out to create the illusion of scarcity.  Not sure what they're doing with the vancouver tix.

They show the platinum tickets and then take groups of them away as if they are being sold. It creates a bit of panic and some people cave on the prices. They do the same thing with standard tickets for shows that aren’t selling well.

A few additional rows in the sections closest to the stage have appeared for MSG as well.

2 months until the tour opener date. You would think it will become available fairly soon.

I wouldn’t buy those Vancouver back of the back lowers at regular price, let alone premium.  Who do they think is going to buy those?

The key here is to not buy PJ Premium.  Resist the urge, although most people cant/wont afford these anyway.

Lots will be available, F2F and then drops the few days before the show.

On multiple occasions over the past few years, I ended up purchasing great seats that were previously marked as premium after they dropped to standard pricing on the week/day of the show. It’s just a waiting game.

Funnily enough some of the 3X premiums for Vancouver 1 are now 2X.  Still that’s at least 1X too high but they do eventually get the message of what people will and won’t buy.  Maybe it’s all automated like airline pricing.

What a disgrace- on the other hand - I intentionally didn’t enter the draw for that show - will be interesting to see when there’s a standard drop - hopefully I’ll be online at the time or someone will ping me!  I think it will be like MSP was.

I ended up with a spare pair for night 2, a little worried that they'll wait forever to open up fan2fan and they'll be competing with these seats.. shrug.

I guess it explains how it "sold out" so quick.

I've never seen this with platinum tickets though.   Putting them all on sale at once so people know there's boatloads and to wait it out?

I'm really surprised there are still any tickets available for NY and Philly at all at this point. I thought the Ticketmaster algorithm was much more sophisticated, and that dynamic pricing would be much more real time, getting the prices adjusted to whatever the market rate was to sell out.

It’s a waiting game.  With 6 months to go they aren’t in a rush to cut prices.  They know they can sell those seats at any time at the right price. They’re not in a rush and they prey upon our need for certainty.

Yeah fair point, and maybe one of these songs from the new album becomes a hit between now and then, and the ticket demand spikes

Well I don’t think the new music will move the needle on demand no matter what it sounds like. Either good or bad.

Vancouver standard price is $208 Canadian.  I don’t think they have to slash the price of the rear lowers to $90.  They’d probably sell at $150-175 and maybe even the full $208, though I wouldn’t buy that.  However in no world (maybe other than MSG and Philly) should those seats be premium.
