From TMs perspective it makes sense to keep F2F open as it would limit refunds. They don’t care who buys the ticket and would much rather hold cash than unused tickets for an unknown date.
Except every single F2F transaction costs them $$$.
I got an email this morning that my tickets had sold and I was getting paid lol. I sold a pair 2 weeks ago that I already got paid for...

Two pair of nice side stage section 110 (4seats together) for Toronto are up. Standard tickets
I wonder if all of these "standard tickets" are people who have called and requested a refund.

Not as much as refunding their cut of the original sale
My co-workers are all coming over offering their condolences. It's pretty funny / depressing. One team even wore all black... I've got a support group here!
I walked into a pic of the tour cancellation graphic and the words 'Jeremy has spoken' on my office door.
I ripped the goddamn thing off and launched it across the office.
I am not in the fucking mood to be ribbed or have my balls busted right now.
I'm not sure why so many take pleasure in the disappointment of others. Its very weird to me.

Except only would do that if eventually gets cancelled. F2F is costing them to administrate and they're losing whatever was paid to the credit card companies with each sale.

That is a terminable offense IMO. I hear you!
It was the Global Controller of the entire company. There is no winning that battle.
Launching it across the across the office like Roberto Clemente throwing out a runner at home got my point across quite nicely....
Too soon big guy. Too soon.
Well said! But I hear you... “Global” anything’s probably shouldn’t be messed with!

No, they'd have to do it if the original ticketholder requests a refund based on the new dates. If those people instead sell on F2F there's only the negligible cost of a F2F transaction.

I don't think the cost of F2F is negligible though. And they won't offer refunds until new dates are announced (who knows when), and then they'd resell those tickets anyways.

F2F transaction cost certainly isn't any higher than the transaction cost of reselling after a refund, which actually requires two transactions (refund + new sale). Then there's the time value to TM of holding the money for months, which a refund eliminates.
EDIT: I just got a TM email offering a refund, so they're doing it before the new dates are announced.
Your event is still happening, but at a future date yet to be announced.

Got that email for both Baltimore and MSG. It is comforting to know that there is no outright cancellation. We will all get there, even if it is a bit later.
I've spent most of my day sulking and pouting at work😭😭😭😭😭
Me too at the point where I cant even post here... My crew is walking on eggshells around me and rightly so. just to put the cherry on top one of My fucking drivers side swiped my car. He is sooooo lucky he has a job right now I cant tell you how much restraint it took... I hate to admit it but I am handling this like a complete child.
Your reservation has been cancelled for your stay at Radisson Hotel Baltimore Downtown-Inner Harbor. Please find the details of the cancelled reservation below. We hope you stay with Radisson or at another Radisson Hotel Group hotel again soon.
Urgh.
Just...fucking...URGH.
Was this a confirmation message, or did they just cancel it without you requesting?
I called.
They knew what I was gonna ask for before I even got it out of my mouth.
Also, the news about Amtrak is true. Full refunds if you call up and speak to a live rep.
Outside of the cost of the show ticket, which will get used eventually, this cancellation cost me nothing but abject misery.
Hooray....or something.
Hours of planning that lottery strategy.. verified fan.. general public onsale. Organizing plans and reservations
And all that f5ing.
So PJ canceled this and allegedly a 2015 euro tour. Other bands go 40 years without breaking up a tour.
I'm trying to post a pair on Floor B for STL right now. It's an extra pair I have.
any luck?
The listing is showing as Active on my account, but nothing showing up on the show page
Interesting. I guess when they reopen F2F there may be some nice tickets sitting there.
I don't want to be sitting on $500 in tickets I won't be using (have an extra pair for TO as well). There is no refund option on these (guessing because they were bought via F2F)
