It's fucking brilliant....and it's also pretty damning that no other democrat or even just the dnc, in general, thought of it first. They should've been running ads like this for a long time now.
Exactly....If I were advising any of the dem front runners I would be telling them to be on TV every day talking about tRump's fake hair, tan, teeth, his weight, his centaur stance, etc.

But mostly about his failures....bankrupt casinos, trump airline, etc.
While I agree with you about pointing out his faults and failures, everything you listed is old well known news.
What should be stressed is what he has done and not done in the last three years. As well as how he has behaved and what he has not done and said.

    They should stress the.....

Not knowing or caring about the constitution
Believing he is above the rule of law
    Constant pathological lying
    Racism
    Xenophobia
    Support of dictators and enemies
    Alienation of friends and allies
    Support of white nationalists
    Support of white supremacists
    His paranoia
    His overall degenerate behavior

    Etc etc
agreed but even though those things are known by most of the world they are not well known by the 40% chud that lives in the Fox news bubble.  We need to humiliate him on every network for the most petty and ridiculous things to make those people think.

He's right, we need entitlement cuts badly in this country.  What we need is means testing for SS.

And did @Spiritual_Chaos and @PJPOWER actually read the op-ed? I'd be interested in each of you reading it, remembering what 2012 was like economically, and telling me specifically how Bloomberg was wrong in his assessment?

Although I understand why you would say that, doing so would sure discourage people’s drive to save for their own retirement or would result in massive fraud (not that it doesn’t already exist).  Again, I understand the thought behind means testing, but most would just see it as punishment for retirement savings through other avenues.  Not sure I can get behind the means testing as a way of saving SS just yet.
For the record, personally, I hope to not be dependent on SS and am diligently investing and saving now in hopes of not having to work part time at wal mart when I’m retired.  Actually, I don’t contribute to SS at all anymore since I now fall under TRS (teacher retirement), which is broken too.

It depends on how means are defined.  You could exclude IRA and 401(k)s from the equation easily.  You would target people with high net worth through liquid assets, trusts, etc.  Once you meet a certain economic threshold, you don't even go near IRAs because they offer no tax benefit.  So these retirement vehicles do not work for the wealthy already.  Something does need to be done to make it solvent.  The boomers just keep living longer and there are so damn many...

Corruption, corruption, corruption... that should be one theme.  And the second theme should be health care.  While you could hit Trump with a hundred things, I think you pick two and just hammer it home, day and night relentlessly.  Steyer and Bloomberg should finance the whole thing.

That would be the most hysterically awesome thing that could ever happen.  Its market cap is 22 billion, but all you really need to do is buy out the Murdochs at 40%.  Maybe he and Bezos can go halfsies.

That's from the NY Times. Washington Post had its own story. This is a pattern of behavior over years and years.

Watch this stuff unfold, folks. You're about to get a lesson in who only cares about racist and misogynistic behavior when it's Trump.

I think there should be a recognition of male chauvinism that was rampant, particularly in NY financial culture during that time, and not weigh on it too much.  I'm sure you said some things in the 80's and 90's that if published, might not reflect well on you today.  I know that's true for me.

It was New York.  I don't think it's right, but I also don't think what someone said in 1988 is reflective of who they are as a person today.  I weigh what someone says today much more heavily than what they said 30 years ago.

Bear in mind, we're not even at the binary choice portion of the program. People are getting behind this guy in the primary. Choosing this over Biden, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Sanders, Warren, etc.

Doubt Bernie was a "male chauvinist" telling women things like the quoted in 1990.

This is the woke cancel culture we live in now.

The book was basically a joke birthday gift he got 30 years ago. What cares?

If Bloomberg is so bad, how on earth did a city as liberal as NYC elect him three times? Come on people. You're killing your own at your own peril. Removing Trump is literally the ONLY thing that matters this year. I think this guy is your best chance. Suck it up and fall in line

Bloomberg isn't even close to being on my radar and is behind just about all of the candidates for me.  But I'm also not a fan of digging through things from 30 years ago.  That WashPo editorial that was posted as, evidently reflective of his feelings about SS is a great example of out of context and intellectually dishonest smearing.  No one has, in particular Spiritual Chaos who posted it, challenged anything he wrote in the op ed.  It's fundamentally correct.  But now it's being used as Bloom is an enemy of SS. How do we know that this 'anecdote' isn't just as intellectually dishonest?
