My last two times at MSG, I got center ice middle rows of the lower bowl with my fanclub number 333xx and on ticketmaster behind the band, which is a really unique perspective that I liked a lot.
Yes, it is very cool (08 night 2 about the same seat).  Seeing the crowd and right behind Matt... what could be better??

I had no luck with the lottery but a friend offered me his plus one.  So I'll be there.
me too!  SO fortunate and happy about that!

and, i've completely lost track of all my pj concert stats, haha.  BUT i can say with certainty that i've been at every MSG show since 2004 onwards, so however many that may be, that's how many times i've seen them at MSG. ha.

there used to a pj app for that kept track of how many shows you've seen, how many times you heard song X, how many songs you've never heard live, etc.  in numerous phone upgrades i somehow lost it - does it still exist?  it was a fun little thing!
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

MSG will be my 45th show.  My wife has seen them somewhere around 15 times.  We are also bringing my 16 year old and 14 year old to see Pearl Jam for the first time... really excited for this show and to share the experience with the kids.

won through the 10c lottery via BA. part of me hopes it's GA and part of me goes "you're over 30 you wanna sit now".
Could always chill in the back of GA and get buzzed.  I met up with my best friend at mustang sally before msg 2 2016. We pounded 3 yagerbombs and showed up 10 minutes before showtime. Had bout 5-6 Brooklyn lager's during the concert and had a good time. So much room in the back of GA.

Got denied from 10c and forgot the TM pre sale and missed out on the general sale, but I'll be in the building somehow

Mustang Sally’s is the shit bro! I’m with you. Struck out at every opportunity but I’ll be in the building. Hopefully with the help of another member or stubhub. Either way.

  • MSG here we come again. Haven't missed a PJ show in the tri-state area since Yield. Only (1) show so they will probably blow the roof off the place, lol.

Congrats!! I hope I get tickets too. Otherwise I’ll be spending thousands in stubhub
  • Just a side note - unless someone has prior experience, I don't think that MSG will have the ability to allow folks the day before to come in and purchase merchandise.  The NCAA is having their Elite 8 games the night before - that would be a huge security mess.  Highly doubtful.

Meaning... day of purchase of merchandise.
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...
makes much more sense to live in the present tense...

  • I'm in with a pair of reserved. Trying to coordinate where to stay.  Drive from Maine to CT and take train into Penn St and stay in airbnb near the venue? Or just drive all the way and try to find an airbnb in Brooklyn with parking?  I wanna try and lock something down before the general public sale as I assume prices will go up even more.
Drive to White Plains and take Metro North down.  Just check schedules for the late train.  Hard curfew at MSG so you know 11 you’re done the latest.   Then you can enjoy a couple bars walking from MSG to Grand Central on way to catch your train (disclosure - have not checked metro north train schedules lately, so timing may or may not work).    Unless you’re staying in Manhattan why fight with city traffic to get to Brooklyn?
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

    How’s the weather late March?
Late March is the worst.  Or could be the best.  Lol

if we get snow that week expect a slushy cold mix to navigate around.   Or, it could be cold rain.  Or it could be 65 during the day and 35 at night.   Or it could be a perfect 50 at night.

And if you’re there 2 days it could be all those things across the 2 days.

That’s our transition from winter to spring and can be either.

    Like it was for years?

This multi day merch fest boggles me. Go to concert, get merch, sit down. The whole poster scarcity is what started all of this frenzy, which I suppose the artists want.

As long as it doesn’t rain and there isn’t snow/slush on the ground we should be good. Or is that asking too much?
