Question for next time....is your place in the queue completely random? Me and two other buddies each had invites to the VF presale for Baltimore and the last guy (out of the 3 of us) that made it into the waiting room (the screen before the queue opens up), ended up with the best spot in the queue with only 350 people ahead of him. Me and my other buddy had 2,000+ people in front of us when we entered the queue, even though we got in the waiting room ahead of him.
Just trying to figure out how this madness works. I can accept it being random...but would just like to know so I'm not trying everything I can do to get into the waiting room as quickly as possible if there's absolutely no benefit to your spot in the queue.
I logged into waiting room (Baltimore) about 30 seconds before 10am - had about 450 people ahead of me- got 2 tickets in 200 level side stage after about 2 minute wait. Had to be some sort of randomness.
I logged into Baltimore Waiting Room exactly 10 minutes before 10 AM as suggested. There were 2,000+ in front of me. Finally got in at 10:25 and couldn't even pull a single.

I'm drinking some chamomile tea before the 10am PST pre-sale for the LA shows. I can't believe after almost 30 years, it is still a very stressful event to buy friggin concert tickets for Pearl Jam.

Wouldn't it be cool if they did smaller venue, 10C exclusive shows? I imagine they could mix one or two of those in during each leg of a tour. I think the the Stones used to do something like that. I'd pay top dollar for those.
Oh, I had forgotten all about the rumored SiriusXM show...more fun times to look forward to on this board.
Congrats to everyone who successfully traversed the VF process, by the way! It helps to see people going through it too, much less isolated. (And good luck to the rest of us tomorrow!)

Same here. I was able to get into the waiting room for Baltimore about 13 minutes before 10 AM. When the queue opened, I had 2000+ in front of me. Got in for tickets at close to 10:30. I was only looking for a single and got the someone beat you to it message several times. Finally pulled one where the "Sit tight, we're securing your Verified Tickets" screen didn't disappear immediately so I thought it was processing my purchase. Almost two hours later I still had the same screen and eventually had to pull the plug.
Beyond frustrating to hear that people who entered the waiting room right before 10:00 ended up in the queue with only 450 or 350 ahead of them. It seems like the spot you are given in the queue is totally random.

Yes, it is totally random. Helps prevent bots from getting in line first and eases the initial traffic.

There's a handful of chairs around the walls, a table in the middle with some magazines from 4 months ago. One of those little kid toys where you push some different color/shape beads from one end to the other in loops and whatnot. Couple of framed landscapes on the wall, TV in the corner showing The View. Smells kind of odd but not unpleasant.

That is exactly how the queue is supposed to work. You get no benefit getting in the waiting room early. You just need to be there in the room when 10:00 hits. And at 10:00, it basically does a random draw to place you in your spot in line.

I think people get antsy when the timer ends and it says we're securing your place in the queue. It takes a little while to put you in the queue and people think it's frozen. When they refresh they go to the back of the line.

Gonna be so great. They'll raffle off 10 tickets total, and we'll have members in here with 25 shows in their sig block claiming they never get tickets to anything and threatening to quit the club.

Yeah it took a lot of restraint not to mash that refresh button. Not that it did me any good.

If you're a San Diego waitlister, I hope you get in. I already have my 10C tix but was chosen to get VF for SD (not either LA show which I'm also going to)...but I'm only going for one more, so there's 3 extra for you!
Hoping there are no ticketing hiccups as I'm buying one for my friend and myself and another friend are already going via 10C.

I'm debating being logged in via iphone tm app vs. desktop webpage...any quick thoughts?
I had a pretty seamless experience using TM app on iPhone - DID NOT refresh at all - looks like nothing is happening, but it is. Also, had CC info entered on TM account ahead of time - just have to enter security code once you get to that point.

I don't think so. You're given a queue ID when you join the waiting room; you should already have a designated place in line as long as you're in the waiting room.

Oh I know, I'm saying I don't think people realize that and think they need to refresh the screen when the timer ends.
I assume this is 'The Waiting Room'? Looks like I'm signed in (name in upper right not visible). Then I enter my code at 10:00 or before?
