Someone in the NYC thread said they pulled Baltimore GA with Priority #2
That was me. BAL GA was my 2nd priority.
how is that possible?
I’m calling bullshit on this system if that is true. Unless everyone that put in GA or BA as first priority also gets not just a ticket but also GA. Even if you get seats it’s bullshit if you had Baltimore as 1st priority if someone with 2nd priority GA got tickets right? I won’t be pissed until it looks like I got seats only or get shut out. But, this makes it seems like everyone that put in 1st priority for Baltimore BA should get GA, which couldn’t be possible...right? This makes no sense.
GA is pulled first. Then reserved. BA people who got emails around 3:02 will be GA. BA who get it now will be reserved.
Incorrect. The name is pulled first and tickets are assigned then by ga, rs, or ba
Don’t think so. I think what they’re doing is GA first and using the pool of people who picked GA only and BA (which implies GA as priority). Then once that’s filled they’ll do reserves with the people who picked Reserved only and the remaining BA selectors.

Happy for tempo, but still haven't heard anything here... But yea if he got ga, then everyone with BA and 1st priority should be ga too. As per how 10c has done lotteries in the past
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

People all over these boards are claiming this is happening. The problem is we have 1) the people getting stuff with worse priority; and 2) people getting shut out with better priority, but no tangible confirmation. If there is an actual problem, we need proof that it is. Screenshots, etc.
I think they just do priority. They draw a name out of a hat and either fill the seats/GA or move on to the next priority. When GA fills first since its best available then those emails sent out first are likely mostly GA unless you went RES only.

Agree. You really think they’re going to sort through all the names to find ga to fill first? No way

Agree. Anyone who thinks customer service reps know how the hell the programmers put the selection logic together have never worked with customer service reps (and that’s not a slight on customer service as much as programmers communicating what the hell theyre doing)
the evidence that has been accumulated to this point says ga was selected first. I guess we can check back in a couple weeks and ask the BA folks that got notified early if they all got GA.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
So that email reads that you are assigned seats based on best available at the time your name is drawn.
I have a friend that got his GA @ 3:03 pm granted.
My BA was granted at 3:02 pm. Based on that math, holy shit! I may have actually pulled GA out of my ass!
It doesn't say anywhere on my confirmation email that I got GA. I know I have GA because that is what I picked for BAL.
How do you know you got GA?
Still don’t think they’re pulling GA first. They may have pulled his NAME and because he has BA, he may fit into GA before it fills up. Do we all agree when selecting BA it’s understood that GA is priority over RS? Who knows, it’ll all play out..

Pretty sure someone got a confirmation that GA was considered Best Available over seats from a response that they got via email from ten club.

I don’t technically “know”. But that email from ticket support above says requests are drawn at random. Then granted best seat available. I put in for BA.
I have a friend who got his request approved at 3:03 pm for GA only.
My email came in at 3:02.
Based on that math, if he got his GA granted a minute after me, then would assume I also got GA.
TBH, I’m just overwhelmingly excited and I’m looking for every advantage I can get for my hometown show. I’ll be happy regardless.
I put in for 1st priority Baltimore Only BA and have yet to hear anything.
Me too. Only show. Best Available. Nothing yet.
Same here.

I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
