So I fully expect to get a rejection letter but I put in MSG as choice 1 and BAL as choice 2.  I hit on choice 2...

    OK.
This still just doesn't make sense. I put Baltimore as Choice 1 and got rejected. It's not a complaint. I just don't understand why we bother prioritizing shows when it doesn't appear to matter in the end.
Read his follow-up. He had the order reversed.

I still dont have an email one way or another. I only requested a single, wonder if it has to do with that...
I don’t either. wondering if it’s because I entered at the last minute, like 11:30 pm on Wednesday...

MSG BA was the only date I put in for. I received the rejection email at 7:09pm EST.

For those who got disappointed - it isn’t over. VF presale, then public sale and secondary. Keep an eye on the Given To Fly forum and this one for winners who have extras or whose plans change. At worst, work the secondary market. You’ll get in.

For those who got lucky today - let’s make the floor bounce.
So much this. Keep trying. You WILL get in!!!!!
Anybody “could” get in if they’re willing to pay any price

Let’s hope management takes a long look at all the California 99% shows after 7 years of no shows there

and all the non East coast 99% shows.

Take our northern neighbor as an example of the available data. 9 arena shows there the last 2 arena tours. On a per capita basis that’s comparable to 90 shows in the US. Maybe the fall will make up for that, but if that’s going to be stadiums and festivals then it won’t.

Hopefully they look at data and address the cluster duck it always is in NY and the N.east to get tickets, and schedule future tours closer in line with where their fans live.
  • If people stopped signing up and entering their entire families for tickets there would be more to go around.
    Yup.
    Adapt or be left behind
No. I’m not a complainer. I accept it. It is just a fact. Not gonna start a thread asking 10c to ban memberships for multiple household members just because I don’t do it. Personal responsibility...what a concept.

Yep.  I had mentioned when the tour was just a rumor that PJ has never played just 1 show in NY... until now, lol.

I mean for face. Try verified presale. Try regular sale. Post here. Post on Craigslist. Just keep trying. I’ve struck out many times but kept going and never paid more than face. There’s plenty of time before the shows.

Using non-scientific, purely anecdotal, comment based evidence; it seems  BA was a highly successful option. I don’t recall seeing it as an option, but I wouldn’t have picked it anyway. Oh well

  • I LOST both Balt BA #1 & NYC BA #2.
Wife WON NYC BA #1 & Lost Balt BA #2.
Mixed emotions because my 150xxx would have given us such better seats than her 520xxx number & the fact she has no desire to go to NYC in the first place (only put in for that for her because NYC is 1 of only 2 "transferrable ticket" shows, and I wanted an extra lotto chance). Good thing I did because only she hit. Now I get to transfer her NY tix to me, but we are SOL on the Baltimore show that she actually wants to go to.  Hopefully the Verified Presale comes through.

    OK.
You got Balt as your #2? Lol, Not sure how the hell the happened but congrats man!
Yeah.  I don't get it either...
that’s pretty shitty for anyone who had Baltimore as priority 1. maybe you had the order flipped? can’t see how else it would have worked. if anybody got GA with choice 2 it means EVERYONE who had BA for choice 1 should have gotten it, and that was not the case
You just made me think that I screwed up my choices now.  I don't think there is a way to check is there?
There is. If you go to your selection confirmation email, your selected shows are listed by the priority you selected. So, for me...Balt was my one (and shows that way), followed by other selections.
OK I did go and check on my choices because I did it twice and I did put BAL first...  IDIOT!

Well I have a hotel booked already so that will be a fun trip.

Let's hope for the general sale that I got it.

I would like to apologize to everyone that I told was MSG first as it was not.  You may stop w the conspiracy theories now.

    Oh well.
I bet this happened to a LOT of people. Like I said earlier, when I did my entry (twice), I clicked on MSG first, did my business selecting BA, then clicked on Bmore next. On the next screen, the drag-and-drop to set the order, both times it had Baltimore on top by default. I had to drag MSG up to the top to get the order the way I wanted. It’s counter-intuitive - you’re not an idiot for assuming that the show you selected first would be counted as your first priority - so I’m sure there are a lot of members who messed it up.
