Perhaps this has already been brought up in the thread but those who put BA but didn't get tickets to the 99% show like Nashville and St. Louis, did your 10c email match your Ticketmaster email?
I missed out on Nashville and my order was completely right. Proof of this is I got both LA on Friday. The major problem here is the odds were misleading. I had Nashville reserved seats as my 5th choice. The 99 percent should have been explained better for what it is. I have no issue with not getting my 5th choice but certainly based on the wording in the email and the odds, they made it seem like anyone who put in for those shows would get them. As we now know, it’s not actually the case. I knew Nashville would be popular. If I thought they didn’t have enough to cover the 10C members, I probably would have put in for another show. I also didn’t get my first choice, MSG Best Available, which is unfortunate but the luck of the draw.

Why are so many folks assuming it must be “user error” with all the issues that have happened? How difficult was this that it must be the person’s fault? All you had to do was pick shows!
Because almost all of the issues have been explained as user error.

People that didn't have matching info with Ticketmaster
People that didn't realize they had to arrange the order after selecting their picks
People that didn't understand the difference between selecting GA vs BA

The only legit error I have seen is the incorrect denial emails.
I’ve seen lots of instances of people who had both BA first and second choice lose out to folks who had GA or BA or RES as a third or lower pick.  They usually won their first pick but not their second.  Don’t think user error is involved in any of them
The user error is that that never actually happened.  They probably never ordered their choices.  No one is getting tickets with 3rd picks over someone with the same first pick.  Period.  They may THINK they are because they can't follow directions.
Well if it happens to me (I haven’t heard yet on my second pick (oak 2 BA), I’m an example of it happening.  Want a screenshot?
Any theories on the "haven't heard" issue? I know there were several reports, especially with the 2-show cities.
My theory is, and many have admitted to this, they deleted their picks by adding new sections. So no confirmation or denial email was needed since they technically withdrew from the lottery.
I’m not eliminating the possibility of TM error, but the amount of user error involved has proven to be very high. People flat out didn’t read the directions. I saw several cases where people uploaded their entry emails as proof they selected a show as priority 1 when all it did was show they really added new shows and deleted old ones without realizing it. That is why they never heard back because they didn’t enter.

Also I’ve seen several people not know you had to arrange priority at the end, not while you selected. So shows people thought were priority 1 was maybe 3 or 4. That wouldn’t explain a no response, but I am guessing this is the case for anyone who won GA beyond first pick.

The few who got shut out completely I am guessing had incorrect info or something that invalidated their entry (didn’t include their 10c email when asked for it)

It seems beyond dispute at this point that the odds tool did not work. Also, from talking to people here and on Facebook these last few days, the decision to include current odds at the time selections were made in the entry emails was a mistake. People really believed those were their odds and it has added to disappointment and confusion.

It’s so hard to believe that anyone could think the odds wouldn’t change over the course of three days. They should however make them real time odds. No way they can’t figure out how to do that instead of waiting two times a day.

I'm disappointed if the odds were inaccurate, but I'm not entirely sympathetic to the confusion about odds at the time of submission. The email clearly says "Please note: odds reflect the odds at the time of your request. These odds will change over time until the Ticket Request period has closed."

For example, if you chose BA but got your email later than everyone else, your assuming you got reserved? Personally I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason on when emails are sent

There has been some indication that people who submitted GA only were in the first wave of notifications. I believe that's where the notion of a correlation comes from.

Said it a couple times, but I can’t believe this is the case. Nashville had so many 2nd priority BA find out before 1st. Either the system is horribly flawed or there really is no rhyme or reason.

I totally agree, but for that reason I don't think including the odds in someone's entry email served any purpose other than causing confusion.

I think the odds tool worked. If anything it might have only shown round 1 odds and not overall odds, which would be a change. But given that for most shows except Bal and MSG rounds 3 and 4 were winners it probably was correct.
I know anyone who didn’t get tickets doesn’t want to hear this, but the most likely reason is user error. I say this based on the amounts of comments you can read about people not knowing they had to prioritize at the end and not as they go, and especially the fact that all new entries deletes all previous ones, that has been a big one.
It sucks and I feel bad for anyone who missed out, but just reading comments that seems like the simplest explanation.

I've read on these forums that they drew everyone with a #1 priority first then moved on to #2 priority for same show, etc. Was that (or whatever method they used) ever stated by 10c anywhere? I have a guess as to how it may have gone (or maybe a suggestion for future drawings) but if its already been contradicted, I'll keep it to myself

Again, not me. I only put 1 order in and never even went back into the TM site to check odds for fear of any complication.  One login, one entrance with two shows, one confirmation and ghosted on the other.

Exactly. So much of the confusion and frustration that people are complaining about are regarding things that are addressed in the emails and on the website. I feel like it is entirely reasonable to be upset about gutted about losing the lottery, but people seem to be acting willfully ignorant or just lashing out at 10C and TM and others for really unwarranted reasons. There's still a lot of uncertainty about how the lottery actually works, which is frustrating, but there's been so much indignation about results coupled with so many accounts of user error and misunderstanding of the process.

Regarding the "final odds" of 99%, we don't even know if those were the final odds. It's my understanding that there were still about 4-5hrs left for submitting requests after the "final odds" were posted. I know my wife and brother-in-law didn't submit any requests until after the final odds were posted because they wanted to use that to rank their priorities. I'm assuming the odds were still 99% for most shows for reserved tickets, but it wouldn't be absurd to think that a few were lower than what the final odds actually showed.

Anyways, best of luck today for everyone waiting on results!!!

The odds tool certainly did not work. Any basic understanding of math shows that. It either needs to be junked or refined for future sales. And if it was reflective of first choice only odds then you don’t think it needed to say that? Especially in light of the language in the email that most, if not all, orders would be filled.
