I'm with you JG. Just saying Bricktown to Midtown is a little far to walk, in my opinion. But the streetcar makes it easy to get there. I still haven't ridden it but need to try it at some point.
I live here and have walked it. My point is to give guests a unique experience. Irish pub is an Irish pub. I was thinking more of what show cases OKC to guests. I love Henry Hudson, Tapwerks and Bricktown Brewery but they hardly are unique nor showcase our city. FWIIW I’ll be in Bricktown tomorrow after my 6 year old sons basketball game. Love it. Just not unique or a showcase to guests.
Sounds like you’re more concerned about showcasing okc when most everyone coming in from out of town will probably just want somewhere close to anchor down with no hassle. Any place in bricktown, where most out of towners will be staying, will work. Like someone else mentioned above- ease and accessibility..

You guys are all over it. Best place closet to arena is preferred as wishlist goes till About 6:00-6:30. Ideally we all leave pre-party and walk over to arena. Capacity is a factor. Wherever it is, will be a blast. Keep the local rec’s coming.
Confirmed! Will be my 19th or 20th show and my son's first. Can't wait for the Wishlist Party and meeting more Jamily

It will be my fourth show, the second in the US, and the first with my wife. We''ll be driving from Tulsa. OKC does seem like a very nice place, and the area around the arena seems fun and very easy to navigate for a situation like this -- only been there once for a NBA game. I remember a "Flaming Lips Street" or something there in Bricktown.

Don’t tell anyone (because I love getting GA tix, lol), but Chesapeake really is a great venue to see PJ. One of my favorite indoor venues...If you have never been there, and are going for the first time, you will love it!
The 2013 show was one of my favorite PJ shows. Immortality was amazing and the crowd had a lot of energy, a great concert.
