Apparently there will be separate sections for vaccinated (full capacity) and unvaccinated (33% capacity) people. Masks for everyone.

If I wore a tinfoil hat, I would say the unvaccinated seating area is a genius way for the government to identify and track the people who aren’t vaccinated.  🤪

Nah it’s dumber’n that. They’re trying to give out J&J jabs at the stadium before games, and give free tickets (to a future game) to whoever gets one. So they need the seating sections for the unvaccinated to draw them there in the first place.

It’s too clever by half - if I were governor and wanted to incentivize people to get shots, I’d just say that the stadiums are open at 100% but only for vaccinated folks.

I’d rather be vaccinated and sit with the unvaccinated. I would rather have the room with less people around me.

I was thinking the same way, but then wondering if maybe it would be safer to be in the vaccinated section.

    How does that work?
Certain games for full vaxxed and others for unvaxxed at 33%?
If one person shows up who's not vaccinated, capacity gets reduced to 33% and 2/3 of folks are sent home?
    This weekend we rock Portland

    👍🏻

Still seems weird to cater to unvaccinated people. But maybe they know what they’re doing.

PJ will wait till it can have 100% capacity to do indoor shows! I don’t see how they could do it any other way, how would they if it’s only 50% capacity who gets in? Who doesn’t? The bitchfest would be nuclear around here.

Without question. And don’t discount the business side of things with reduced capacity.

This is all speculation so take it with a grain of salt. Also for those that want true rumours if there were any they would be leaking. There are none at the moment hence the boredom and speculation.

I still think if they can safely have shows this year they will try and pull it off. That means something on top of the pair of fests they have lined up. They are rumoured to be doing Australia sometime after the fall. That means December to March for timeline and would mean 6 shows or something around that.  Add up the 35 plus NA shows that they have planned (this does not even include Seattle,Boston, and Philly) and the 17 Europe shows in the summer and we are getting around 60 shows. Thats insanity for this bands touring schedule in 1 year.

Of course they can space these out with the NA tour and push some to 2023 but will they want to? I think they will try to get some shows "out of the way" this fall if they can do it to lighten up the load for the 2022 touring season. That is not to say they will rush it to get shows in and do it unsafely. I am saying if arena shows are a go in November or if they can do Australia this year I bet they jump on it. Also even though Chicago looked to have a pair of arena shows lined up they could now flip to ballpark shows with Boston and maybe even Philly after the Euro tour is done. Seattle would get the arena treatment with the refurbed venue either later this year or early next I would imagine if they really want to open up the venue.

Also what are they going to do with the postponed shows? Are they going to blend them in with leg 2 like they had planned for the fall of 2020 or are they going to take priority and we get those out of the way asap with maybe MSG and Toronto shows added?  My vacation is going to take a shit kicking next year by the looks of it that is for certain.

Yeah it would be a real shame if a show/ticket situation caused a nuclear bitchfest on this board.

Agree 100%.  But also, I think we will be allowed to have 100% capacity shows by September as it is already possible in a few states

They could reschedule the Nashville show for the first week of July if the wanted to for example
