I don't want to shit on anyone's parade. But the concert industry is not going to come back in the way you think of it for a long long long time.
His eminence has yet to show.

Probably. The only thing is, the Kentucky situation was 3 festivals in a row and the announcement said there was too much involved in planning 3 straight to live with the uncertainty. With Ohana being a one and done, and with a playbook being in its 5th year now, at least the decision can hopefully wait and see for a few more weeks in case something improves. Also, it’s possible some of the cancelled shows and festivals weren’t selling that well to begin with. We don’t know Ohana sales, but the Sunday VIP sold out. That’s a lot of $500’s to return. They’ll put safety first, but I’m guessing they’ll wait a while to decide.demetrios said:kst said:Bourbon and Beyond and other Kentucky festivals for late Sept. were just cancelled as well.

I won’t be in the majority but to me this is a disappointing headliner announcement. I’ll be skipping P2S in 2022. I also hope they move it back to the July long weekend in 2023, made for an awesome weekend road trip!0

Whatever happened to that festival?Athens 2006 / Milton Keynes 2014 / London 1&2 2022 / Seattle 1&2 2024 / Dublin 2024 / Manchester 2024 / New Orleans 20250

It kind of morphed into the Wildlands Festival. Same promoter, same time of year, same venue. https://www.wildlandsmusic.com/Pap said:Whatever happened to that festival?
This year Dave Matthews (without his band) and Lukas Nelson are headlining. I live close by so it's easy to go up there for a night, although it means I'll miss John Butler in Missoula the next day (sad face). Hoping Mike and/or John Mayer might make a guest appearance since they have homes in the area. They billed it as Dave with surprise guests, so who knows who might show up!

Thanks for the info. Any idea if this one is also curated by Mike McCready?apkirkland said:

It isn’t promoted with any Mike involvement. That said, the promoter is buddies with him, so who knows what happens behind the scenes. Well, someone knows, but it’s not me! lolPap said:
