People have lost their jobs for leaking dates.... and venues have had shows cancelled for leaking dates. I think that might be part of the reason why more information is not readily available leading up to this tour announcement.
What venues have lost shows for leaked dates?
    Saint John N.B. for starters.
A pj show or someone else?

A Bad attempt at a joke. There is no fucking way this shithole would ever cancel anything that is coming here too desperate. I have no clue why an arena would lose a show due to a leak.

Edit: I guess Jay z did but that was a free concert and there were security concerns
The Limp Bizkit show in Dayton also never saw the light of day. https://www.dayton.com/events/concerts/nookie-alert-they-say-limp-bizkit-playing-the-sunoco-again-today/FT6ciCxKN3B87qbJtNNR6O/

Not a bad monday morning. Album out in the spring, and a spring NA tour starting & finishing in blue states. Thanks dpj!
  • News on the tour will certainly be out today. Otherwise there wouldn't have been all that hype and hints the past few days. 1:11pm East Coast time is my guess. The Canadian dollar hasn't been that high all year vs USD. Now's the time to buy some tickets with our cheap currency.

I wonder if they'll announce both US legs at once?

Hope ur right but dpj had about 4+ weeks of detailed hinting with  the Euro tour. Spicy. But announcing in Jan for March dates is a very short window for sales. But they certainly dont need to worry about not selling out the tour no matter how short the advance notice is

Hints on the forum and announcement timing have nothing to do with each other. I hope its today but if they are announcing a new album and a spring tour do we really think that it would be rolled out so fast with no hype or clock before it?

But, but, but Mike McCready said they hadn’t done much recording yet?   How could he lie to us like that?   Funny when people are surprised Mike doesn’t announce an album before it is meant to be announced.

Lol What in the actual fuck is going on in here now? Damn we need that announcement
All I know is the bakers dozen 2017 tour at msg got canceled because someone mentioned it on the boards.  Very disappointing.
I know, I was looking forward to crashing at your place and taking over New York City for 2 weeks.   Sadly it never happened and New York is a better place for it.
Zima and hard seltzer’s would have been flowing!!
Jolly Ranchers and some Zima?! I’m in

of course they won't! Even if the 2nd NA leg was finalized, they want to maximize ticket sales. They are a business and know what is best to increase revenue.

I'm just hoping they are planning to do a 2nd NA leg AFTER Europe.
    That's the plan.
Good (great!) to know. I only heard a bit about the spring. Here's hoping they announce both at once!

Two NA legs = two ticket lotteries. Which may or may not help most get shows.

Hopefully we’ll see the spring dates/locations soon so I don’t spend all that money on reasonable things.
