    Maybe a stop in the desert for Coachella? Jump on stage with RATM.
    Am I the only one thinking they might be playing Coachella as far-fetched as it sounds?  The timing in Los Angeles lines up with both weekends of the festival and the announcement almost coincides with the lineup drop......

    The timing lines up with Coachella for sure, but the headliners have already leaked and no PJ.

    yep
    MN has been asked about numerous times with no answer.  Is a missing city in MN?

    Coachella, run by AEG, has strict contractual rules about acts playing in a certain mileage proximity in weeks around/during fest.

    They aren’t gonna play Oakland and San Fran.   There’s likely 2 x Oakland.
    We thought the same about Miami and West Palm Beach in 2016.
    Excellent point although you likely meant to say Miami and Ft. Lauderdale?
    As well, neither arena was available for multiple dates. And technically, Sunrise, FL.
  • Just to play devil's advocate, one of the long rumored headliners for Coachella who was part of the group "confirmed" by Us Weekly was Frank Ocean. Dude is notorious for canceling gigs. So it could be possible that he already backed out and maybe GV/AEG reached out to PJ to be his replacement. It could be possible that GV/AEG worked with PJ to still let them play shows in Southern California surrounding Coachella since they needed a sudden replacement headliner. A similar situation happened this year when they needed a last minute replacement before the lineup announcement when Kanye canceled. They booked Ariana even though she already had multiple LA shows booked for May. So while it's highly, highly unlikely they will be on the Coachella poster when it drops this week, it also isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility.

    I'll believe Frank Ocean when he actually walks out on stage, and there's been tremendous rumors of a fourth headliner this year due to the poor sales of last year (although I don't think it's PJ as much as I wish it was).

    I know that, but they do bend that rule at times, BlackPink played the Forum last year the Wednesday of Weekend 2 and the 1975 played the Roxy.  I'll just hope PJ is playing the Forum April 15, or anywhere in LA for that matter.....

    I don’t think they’re headlining Coachella for the reasons mentioned above. Does that mean they can’t join RATM as a guest appearance? I don’t know. Timing lines up perfectly.

    After reviewing every page of this thread I can safely say I’ve come to the conclusion that:
    1. We’re all nuts
    2. Dimi is a cock tease 🤭
    3. Brooklyn isn’t NYC
    4. It’s not out water that makes our pizza the best

    am I missing anything?

    When I was waiting for my night bus in Berlin to get back to Prague last year a women was naked from the bottom down 5 feet away from me. She took a squat right there and started to piss. I had to jump out of the way or I would have got some splash back on my shoes.

    I love this thread.
    Last night a woman with her pants around her knees walked up to my (moving) car in the middle of the street, demanded I give her a dollar or give her back her daughter and began punching my vehicle with her bare fists.

    This kind of stuff happens in Toronto all the time. No one should come here to see Pearl Jam.
    Did you give her daughter back?

    True. Coachella sucks anyway. So where is the mystery show in CA and the mystery city that we’ve missed? Need more clues.

    Water as the reason pizza/dough/bagels etc is a certain way is a myth that has been debunked.  It’s not the water, it is airborne yeast cultures that determine reactions within dough, and therefore flavor and since airborne yeast varies by climate/geography/temperature etc, you get different results in your starters when making dough.  Think sf sour dough vs ny pizza dough.  If you took water from San Fran and tried to make their sourdough in Schenectady ny, you’d only get part of what makes it sourdough.  Same reason neopolitan crust tastes different than dough made in Verona- not the water it’s the yeast in the air.

    Just had to say this because some people who own pizza places and some chef’s actually spend the $$ to “import” water from nyc under the false belief that it’s going to make a difference in their dough.  If you took a starter made in nyc and used that continuously going forward to make your dough and kept it alive with your own flour and water, it would be the closest you could get to the real ny deal, although even that would eventually be affected by the airborne yeast in your area.
    This is fantastic.
  • Taking into consideration the clues about missing cities and more than four California shows, maybe one of these three scenarios? Still think Coachella is 99.9% not happening, but I included it anyway.

    4/8 Phoenix-->4/11 Coachella-->4/13 San Diego-->4/15 LA-->4/16 LA-->4/18 Coachella-->4/20 Oakland

    4/8 Phoenix-->4/10 LA-->4/11 LA-->4/13 San Diego-->4/15 Santa Barbara-->4/17 Oakland

    4/8 Phoenix-->4/10 Vegas-->4/13 San Diego-->4/15 LA-->4/16 LA-->4/18 Santa Barbara-->4/20 Oakland
  • Santa Barbara would be where?  At the bowl?  Do they even have shows there that early in year?

    Moncton and Halifax have the same size rinks as Budapest and Zurich do. Make it happen! Instant sell outs for sure.
