    I have a college aged kid.  For weeks if we gave her an answer she didnt like (you guys cooking tonight?  Can i borrow such and such?  “Nope”) we’d get a response of HOW DARE YOUUU!!  In an accent.  

    Took me weeks to get it.   Its a thing apparently With kids copying that :lol:
