    I spoke with some friends in St. Lucie and Martin counties this evening. They said it missed them and was heading north.

    LOL-- fake for sure.  But I'm told they do have good hurricane tracking graphics.  That's about as far as my interest in that organizations goes!

    It appears the worst will come in the morning if we get whatever winds that is left. Flooding may become an issue but I don't think it will materialize. 

    One good thing I've been able to focus on really cleaning the house, listening  to all sorts of music and cooking for once. Stay well everyone.

    West Palm Beach suffered minimal damage as far as I can see. Lots of rain with occasional wind gusts that was it. I didn't even shut all my sutters completely. As my coworkers said to me we dodged another eye of the storm.

    Pictures out of the Bahamas are apocalyptic. Unreal how this storm veered north at the last second and spared the coastal states, for the most part. Very lucky, I can’t even imagine if Florida had been hit directly at a 4 or 5.

    Thank goodness!

    What a disaster though in the Bahamas.  We went there when I was about 10 or 12.  It was a relaxed place and everyone seemed really easy going.
