    In order of GREATNESS? Hmmm, surely thats different to whats my favourite.

    Ok,these arn't in my order of favourites, this is to do with achievemnts as an album. Nothing to do with sales either. Their greatness if you will.


    1) Vitalogy (A big fuck you to the system. Album with the most guts.)
    2) Binaural (the most creative use of production)
    3) No Code (Experimantal)
    4) Yield (Spiritually the most uplifting)
    5) Vs (just a strong record in general)
    6) Ten (heaviest riffs, catchiest chourus')
    7) Riot Act (doesn't match up to the other six)

    Vitalogy--This has been my favorite PJ album since day 1. No matter what they've come out with since, this is still my favorite.

    Ten--Why deny it? This was the album that hooked me and I will always be grateful to this album.

    No Code--This makes its' first entry at Number 3 b/c I was so wrong about this album for years. What I've realized about No Code is it all depends on where you are at in your life at the present moment. I didn't care for it when it first came out but the older I get, the more I appreciate it.

    Vs.--Skipped school to buy this one the day it was released. Therefore, it still holds a soft spot in my heart. Great songs from beginning to end.

    Yield--Yield really stuck with me the first time I listened to it and it's still a great album.

    Binaural--This one is really moving up on my list. I can still do without the first 3 or 4 songs but past that, it's incredible.

    Riot Act--I hate putting this at the end b/c I do enjoy this album..........just not as much as the others.

    fuck the ratings.. PJ is equal to Little Feat in professionalism and as much so in artistic accomplishment..

    and i think VS places PJ equal with any Beatles, Stones and Led Zep album, ever...

    the new album will make us smile and the upcoming tour.. i'll be there.. c'ya

    OVERALL, I'm more into the hard rockin' pj rather than the more mellow stuff, even though I love just about everything they do...

    Tied for 1 and 2 Yield-all around good album -consistantly good songs
    Vitalogy-all around good album also (slightly more crazy sounds)
    3.Riot Act-Thumbing my way, Help Help, Love Boat Captain, I am mine- all great songs
    4.Binaural-Slow and well thought out, people wrongly ranked this one.
    5.No Code- Present Tense is the best song, Red Mosquito is good, so is off he goes
    6.Ten- The songs are getting old on this one, sorry. I'll give it credit where it desrves it- highly emotional.
    7.Vs- There are some good songs...daughter is also pretty old. Nothing that i really connect with.

    I am not including Lost Dogs or live albums here. Lost Dogs and all of the live albums are classics as well imo. Let's not flame people for their rankings, everyone sees the albums differently.

    Since then i have waited EVERY single day for NEW albums
    My favirote changes weekly...as of now.....

    I know alot of people say that BINAURAL is the weakest of the bunch....BUT...the album sounds SO good , all the songs are produced so well... the style in which they recorded....The overall theme of the album is fantastic
    I love it

    Yield to me was their MASTERPIECE...it was a PERFECT album!

    Vitalogy is so raw and uncut , its feels dark and murky...i love that feel!

    Riot Act.. just straight out rocks....i think it was a Fucking awesome album with some hard-hitting tracks....like BINAURAL but without the prduction sound and also less melencholy...more harder

    VS...??? What can you say...the album is a CLASSIC!

    Ten...Also CLASSIC

    NO CODE... to me this is their weakest album...i remember counting the fucking days...waiting to hear a fucking track on the radio....trying to hear a new song from this album...then, when it came out....after i listened.... i felt short changed...it leaves you wanting so much more....
