Should PJ ever do Super Bowl half-time show?

This article suggests acts that would be better than Maroon 5 for the SB half-time show and I thought it was funny that they included Pearl Jam.

No. I'd be so disappointed if they ever agreed to do that.

Maroon 5 was a last ditch effort to get someone people know to do it. Most refused. If PJ agreed to play a show that organizers are scraping the bottom of the barrel for, that surely couldn't be a good sign for where the band is at, lol.

The SB I attended had Beyonce play at halftime.  I was inside getting beer.  If PJ played I would have stayed in my seat, obviously, and I would have been deprived beer, which would have made me sad.

It also couldn't be appealing to PJ that the NFL is deliberately used by the US military/government as a propaganda platform. I can't imagine that the members of PJ aren't tuned into that.

    fuck no

they don't even let you play instruments.

I just don't see them doing some condensed 12 minute show or whatever it is with Rogers hand up your ass on what you can and cant do

Maroon 5 is perfect for it

Would it be any different than playing the Star Spangled Banner before kick-off? Mike has done that before at regular season games.

Honestly, it was kinda weird when they were the soundtrack to the World Series.   But as far as the NFL Super Bowl half time show goes, it has become a goofy spectacle that really just guarantees to leave people scratching their melon going, why? at this point.
His eminence has yet to show.

Has he? Well, that's his business. I wouldn't do it if I were him. But it's different because the superbowl halftime show is just a lot different than the star spangled banner at a random game, lol, and not only because he's actually playing an instrument when he does it. Apparently they don't at the superbowl show.
