This guy has an incredibly relatable way of communicating for me. I find he's got a good blend of inspiring and pragmatic. From a values/norms perspective, I think he's hitting a sweet spot just left of center which could leave him with a strong voting cohort if he plays his cards right. Whoever's able to activate the silent majority in that section of the spectrum, I think could take it.

If Pete was president right now, the response to the shootings would be totally different. Instead of divisiveness and photo ops, you’d have a guy that has experienced gun fights helping people and working on preventative measures.
I haven't paid close attention. I think he is a very practical person that would take an analytical approach to decision making. I think this is outstanding. I think what he needs to do better at is connecting with people like Bill Clinton did. "I feel your pain" versus too robotic with answers. I believe he totally tanked at the town hall in South Bend because he tried to approach it like a professor when there is a huge human element to it.
I'd vote for him though. I don't agree 100% with any politician but I believe he is a genuine good person who cares unlike our current president.

To me, I feel he speaks with the demeanour of someone who's been in academia for a long time. If he can modify his tone and make it more conversational and less 'prose', I think it would work magic for his campaign. God knows he's smart enough to dumb himself down if he so desires.

For anyone so inclined. I wonder if he'd serve in a Sleepy Woke Joe Basement Biden administration and if so, in what capacity?
