Do we want pj plodding along. I don't think the vinyl has anything to do with it. Maybe it's time to go.

Where's the option for, "they're just a rock band and they stopped providing a single which they haven't put any effort into for 9 years."?
What entry in the Friday the 13th series had that title?
    HAHAHAHA

    This made me chuckle.

It may be “just a 45” to some but it represented a special connection a band had made just for their hard core fan base and gave us warm vinyl to hold in our hands made just for us.
Viva La Vinyl was more than just a saying it had heart and we felt it.

I did not know it was bad with Parting Ways but heard of chaos after they released The End.

It’s clearly all over guys.  Sell me your good posters while they still have any value.  I’ll stand by for the PMs.

Its just a realization of where they are in life. They're just not on stage or in the studio all that much the last five years.

I'd say more the beginning of the end. Perhaps 2 studio albums and 150 shows til the end? If we are lucky.

You're drawing that conclusion just because they canceled a 10 Club perk?

I doubt that’s what he is basing it on. I would have said that last week.

If as you say it represented a special connection, it maybe did at one time but hasn't for a long time, so it was time to call time on the annual single which was a commitment that 10c has been struggling to meet for quite a few years now.

Thank goodness the last album ended with Future Days.

BTW: That'll be the first and last time I'll ever make such a statement.

I don’t think it is the end, but it is clear now that the band can’t be bothered to put out just one single a year.  They took all of 2017 off remember.  This is not an active band.  It is an annuity to them and little more than a part of their investment portfolio.  If they are not excited about the band than not quite sure why we should be anymore.
