If Alone and Wash had made it onto the original release of Ten...

That's the way I see it anyways.
Ten's sound (the actual music mostly) is very much the same sound.
But the rest of the albums are so diverse!
Keeping in with a general feel is something they've always done, but that's not speaking of being one-dimensional.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

i see what you are saying....."music" wise.....not lyric / subject wise.....i see that. Very true, but i still love 10The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!
And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes

Function is the key0 -
This is an interesting question, I love Wash and would love to hear them playing it live. It definately fits well after Release as a nice come down from 'Ten' which is still a phenomenal album in my eyes. I have been listening to it since its release, and went off it for about 4 years and would listen mainly to Yield and Vs., but I have rediscovered my love for the album that is so plush, musically that it has a rawness, complemented by seriously excellent melodic songs. The beginning and ends are fantastic bookends to the album so I do not think that any songs would add to it.
Everyone in this thread seems to be singing from the same hymn sheet a la Yield and Vitalogy, but I am very surprised that more of you guys don't dig 'Binaural' so much, which is musically up there with other more modern rock albums such as Radiohead's 'Kid A'. It takes you on a cosmic journey and is truly momentous in its delivery.
ps Sunny day, too much energy? Vs. every time! And now I rub my eyes... for he has returned
Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...0 -

But Jemms page is awesome. Youtube is one of the best websites I've seen in a long time.
Jemms do you have the actual MTV unplugged set recorded. I've been looking for that for a while. Have fun seeing them in Aussie land, I live in Orlando, Florida but flew to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to see them because they wont be in the southern US until after they get done with you guys.
