    Or maybe they paid money so that the festival could operate and other bands could get paid. What does it matter.

    He did "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" with Johnny Marr. I actually expected him to pop up more yesterday, as he has done the last two years.

    Really fun set. Ed does such a great job with these solo shows. The petty part was emotional and awesome, Liz Phair singing betterman was great, and should I stay or should I go now sounded incredible.

    EV solo compared to a PJ show is a bit apples and oranges but fantastic in its own way.  This show was phenomenal and I can't wait for the next chance to see him again.  Also a shout out to the organizers as although there were lines for the parking shuttles afterwards it was very orderly, the line moved, and they had a good amount of buses.

    Is there somewhere other than San Clemente that the shuttles go? The OHANA site only shows one spot

    WOW! Ed's performance last night was incredible!!!!!! My favorite Ohana show yet!  Should I Stay or Should I Go was unbelievable and so was Hard Sun. And pretty much everything else, lol.  Thank you, Ed, for a great show!

    Same for me with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. they absolutely blew me away. Karen O is a friggin rock star. She had me when she walked out wearing a space suit. Such a fun performance.

    I'll echo the previous comments - what a great show!  Love the venue, met lots of great PJ fans, and really enjoyed the main stage line up of Johnny Marr, Liz Phair, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and of course, Eddie.  Hearing Eddie sing There Is A Light with Johnny was a highlight for me because that is one of my all time favorite Smiths songs!

    Had a great time at Ohana.....every year, there are great collaborations....seeing EV with Johhny Marr as well as Liz Phair was amazing.

    We ended up getting a parking space at the venue, though it was about a 15 minute walk from the entrance.  

    Zippo lighters & the elusive $250 signed poster were nowhere to be found.

    Meeting so many delightful people in the crowd warmed my soul.
    The lineup was wonderful.
    Ed's set was beautiful.

    (I would have been a little happier with a bit less bass but I was directly in front of the speakers at the rail and you gotta expect the sound will not be as good as it is further into the crowd.)

    I am absolutely planning on next year. I hope we get a heads up of the dates in enough time to reserve a camping space since my Cali. family offered me the use of their 5th wheel next time.
